Last time I checked, which was the 2000 model year, If you ordered a s-10 w/ the 4.3 and an auto tranny, they gave you the 200HP engine. If you wanted the 5 speed, you got stuck w/ the 190HP version. So not much difference, but that was all I needed to hear. I went for the extra 10 ponies.

If you order a s-10 w/ a 5 speed, you cant get the "enhanced" engine.

joeelutz, The stock setup has the PCV valve tied into the intake tract that leads over the fan shroud. That part of the system is always under vacuum, the pressurized side of the system is after the turbo.

It doesnt look like GM's Site is updated yet. We just started receiving Long blocks of the 4.3L PFI in September. The manifold is cast iorn, and looks kind of like the manifold on the 8.1L. If you want to see a picture or maybe even see an engine, go to a local boat builder that sells...

The new marine EFI manifold is Port fuel injected. It just came out this year. (September, actually)
