IM not doing it. A friend is doing the whole thing. Wet sanding with 2000 grit the buffing it out.

Looks good!! You could have put the pics in order though!! :rotf: That cladding color looks identical to the factory color... thought it was gonna be different?

Looks like alot of wet sanding to be done. Orange peel.... But it sure does look nice.

Even though that's Mazda paint it looks damn close to OEM teal. Looks better than new!:tup:

Looks pretty good. Adjust the door latch on the drivers side, the body lines are not straight. Not to nit pick, but that's my gripe if I had one.Lots of work on the wetsanding, but it should look great when that's done.

I dont understand why the cladding was left on the whole time, or was it just on for the pics?

cladding was left on the whole time, it was all pulled away from the body, that way I did not have to go through all the work of pulling it all off. Trust me it look awsome.

im sure it looks fine, I just wouldnt have gone through all that trouble of a complete repaint just to save myself a little time putting some cladding back on, not to mention the possibilty of rust behind the cladding since thats where it starts.

I wouldnt have left the back windows in either, but thats just me.

im not worry at all if there is rust behind the cladding. there is no surface rust anywere on the truck. it came from NV. never seen snow or salt.
