They said the Aug 2nd one was more than 1,150 cars. Is that really true??
The rules said you can't do ANYTHING "illegal", no burnouts, no racing, etc. Is that how the cruise is really run, or is that kind of an "Official" wink-wink policy? Have you been on one of these cruises to say how they really are?
Most of the car cruises I've been on quickly turn into cannonball runs. :lol:

I didn't get up there until 8:30pm for this one and I over heard some guys saying that this one was a record number of cars......from lambos to novas....unreal and it happens every month. The crazy guy in the Ferrari hat from the barrett jackson that won the one off olds/corvette 60's concept vette(if you remember it) was there.....if you watch the auctions at all he's the guy that buys only certain high end autos for his colorado museum.
If anybody in or around colorado hasn't been to one these you need to go.....you will never see a once a month summer cruise in this large any place(in the colorado area). Austyin can back me up on that statement......he works down the street from the cruise!:tup:
Yes...it's huge! My buddy called me after I put this post up and told me my number of cars was a little low and that the last cruise had over 1000 cars.

I've seen the beginning of the last 3, and I haven't seen anything like that. I've seen drag-built cars do short blasts up to ~40 (25 MPH zone), but nothing too horrible. There are roundabouts every 1/8 mile too, so drag racing could be interesting...

Wow....the second largest show this year....got to meet Jimmy and see his super clean Sy and ran into Larry(nojimmy..Ty). Good too see some other syty guys out at a cruise......Larry as soon as you get your Ty back I want a ride.

Did you see the yellow Callaway Zr1 that was parked in Sonics lot?
Jimmy had his Sy with black gs wheels/gmc motorsports side decals parked in the king soopers parking lot and got lucky with a spot right next to Sonic. I think Larry brought his vette up.

No, I was just looking at the cars that drove by. I did pass by the Sonic (hell, I work next to that Walgreens across from Kings), but I didn't notice a ZR1 or Sy :?

I know I don't get the syclone out like I should but it was finally great to meet Ryan and Larry from the syty world. Its always a good time up there in golden especially when the weather is good the cars come out of the woodworks. Care wise it seemed as though it wasn't as big as last months, but spectators wise it seemed bigger - probably just me.
