A long and winding road it has been but it is time for her to go. Truck is way built I'll have to post a full parts list but here is the general idea. This truck is NOT for the squeemish it is a race truck. No engine management system, I was trying to run the TEC3 but it turned out to be a waste of time and money. For those of you who aren't familiar my truck has so much into it it's a step or two away from going 10's easy and not too far off from 9's. Too much going on these past few years I can't keep it going, I hate too see it end but one mans loss is another mans gain. Things are tough out there but if you have the money and want a truck with sick parts ready to go and you have the know how its a steal. Not going to last long as one piece, if it doesn't go in a few weeks I'll part her out. Truck made 600HP and 800LBS of tourqe at 6000RPMS and only 10PSI, should make over 900HP and TQ without much effort. If you have any questions please email me at raketich@gmail.com. Make me an offer. Seriously way too much custom work to explain, again this truck is not for the weak at heart. The body is in good shape, paint is average but needs to be cleaned up. Cost to build this truck on your own approximately $80K. Lots of peeps going to be angry with me on this one but it is what it is.

Truck is still for sale...my laptop went down the day after I posted this so I'm sorry for the lack of response...I will get new photos this weekend and post a link here and send directly to those who want them...still haven't come up with an asking price yet will do so soon as well...if this is going to happen it is going to happen quick before I get cold feet or just decide to part it out and give the chasis to Rich. Thanks for everyone's patience.

Why was my post edited by an admin? I ran the post past an Admin BEFORE it was posted and made sure it was approved. Which is was.

So let me re-phrase this so it is NOT a question then.

Ryan..... this truck has been raced and slapped on the dyno numerous times. All the while you admit it was never running properly, which is evidenced by your 11 second 1/4 mile times and 2.2 second 60'.

I believe it is your right as a seller to disclose this information, and state you have no guarantee that this motor is even in tip top or working condition. It is only fair considering what you will be asking (posting a price should be a rule as it is on just about every other forum).

Now admins, how about you get off the nutsac and look at this rationally. If you were not head over heals for the owner and or the group behind the truck this thread would be trashed and bashed by the same people who edited my post.

I am going to jump in here.

I've done my best to stay out of this and I would like to say in advance that I have nothing against anyone involved in the truck re; Ryan, Guy, Brian and all of the other people that worship the fallen as they've called themselves.

I commend Ryan for trying to get the truck running on his own and the fact that he was unable to get it running is unfortunate. But he's not the first to have a project and not get it finished.

There have been many projects on the Board that didn't get finished and were sold to fellow board members. And each and every one of them posted all of the details about there projects on the BB.

If they didn't, the BB members would fill in all of the details for them. In some cases it would get pretty out of hand with the accusation and unfounded truth.

Just look at the guy that was selling the 4 x 4 s10 that he put a Syclone decal on - That thread shows people how childish the group is. So what !! it's just a freaking decal - Get over guys

This truck and everything that happened around this truck pretty much caused the falling out in the SyTy Community. This community used to be a fun place to hang out now it's like a group of High School or Grammar School "Clique's" pissing and moaning about each other.

While I'm on my little rant here... I might as well piss everyone off.
The other thing that pisses me off more then anything on this board is the fact the Admin doesn't remove pictures of disabled children that some member think are funny. If you were on any other board like Lateral-g or Pro-Touring you would be banned from the BB.

Wake up guy's you have board members on here with disabled children and I can't imagine how they feel when some jackass on the board post those f_cking pictures.

Just wait guy's till your wife is pregnant and you worry is your child going to be okay or not.

God forbid your child is sick and you were that a_shole that posted those pictures. I can't imaging how your going to feel.

Sad but True this group need to grow up!!

The questions that Mike asked were legitimate question and I see no reason for them to be removed. Actually I think they should be answered.

The way I see it is the BB is not doing it job and representing it's members.

So note to the Admin - Please tell me why you removed the post ...

1. You are selling a motor that a potential buyer will not be allowed to ever hear run correct?

2. You are selling a motor that you have admitted that you were not able to tune correctly right?

3. You are selling a motor that took the abuse for a couple years of being un-tuned and raced right?

4. Have you looked at the internals? What is the overall condition of the motor since it was raced while not running properly.

5. How easy will it be to get into the 9's like you claimed in your post. I was unaware the jump from 11's (where the truck sat when it did run) to 9's was that easy.
I have a few more questions that I can't remember right now. I am sure I will post them when I remember and good luck with the sale.

first of all....where are said pics of children? I don't believe i've seen them. they will be removed.

second....there is nothing wrong with asking questions. There is something regarding tact for how to go about appropriately asking questions. If silly was actually attempting to get his "questions answered...he could have phrased them differently:

1. Does the motor currently run?
2. Was the truck fully tuned?
3. Was the truck raced?
4. Has the motor been torn down / rechecked?
5. this is just a stupid question imo. "ease" is a relative term.

Obviously Silly is simply asking these questions to point shit out that he knows about. Fine. But....Ryan obviously doesn't come to the board much anymore...so he simply requested that questions be emailed to him. It's no different really than someone requesting an email rather than a pm if they happen to not like pm's.

It is entirely different when its a matter of buying a $25,000 motor or buying a $25,000 paper weight.

These are questions that should not have to be asked and information that should be volunteered.

A deliberate omission is the same as a lie, and in this particular case, this same board member has been PROVEN to be a liar. A liar about what you ask? THIS VERY SAME DAMN TRUCK.

Why email very important relevant questions so that no other potential buyer can see the answer, or most likely in this case, lack of an answer.

I wish I could afford to buy this Typhoon. I've been obsessed with an oddfire motor and weldon fuel pump since the first time I saw it run.

I just want to clarify a few things here.

This truck does have potential and could be made into something if you have the time and Money.

Jay Bilingsly has proven that he can get an odd-fire motor to run down the track with the BS3 ignition set up. So if you have the money this truck may be the truck for you.

I'm not trying to harm or hurt the sale of this truck in the least. I would love to see the truck go down the track one day.

I wish nothing but the best for Ryan with the sale of this truck.

I am confused, are these questions in general not questions a potential buyer should be making and asking Ryan personally? Rather than a bunch of bench racers that have no intention to buy it?

Sure a price would be nice, but I also can see if I was in Ryan's position what is a fair price to ask? Sure we all know you will be buying it on penny's on the dollar spent here.

If I was a serious buyer I would be contacting Ryan getting a phone # and talking to him 1st hand no matter if he had an ad that read ty for sale -vs- one with 50 pages of details I would still be calling him.
