Garage Decor!!

I have decided to redo my garage before the winter comes. I have painted it a few times since i have purchased the house six years ago but i really got fed up with not finishing it off. I had some condensation always building up on the walls and packing it up with just about everything that didnt fit anywhere else. Well that stopped. I first dug in the dirt on the outside of the walls all the way down the the foundation and fixed all cracks with cement, tar paper and tar. I also redo all the drainage lines. After a few weeks getting that done i have started inside. I power washed the entire garage with specific cement cleaner. Painted all the walls, installed all new garage cabinets and now am finishing off the ceiling. I feel my truck deseved it. HAHA

The question i have is......i would really like to get some nice decor for the walls. My wife bought me a few things last year on christams that i plan to use but where else can i get some things. I searched on ebay and the tin posters are cool but nothing has really caught my eye. I dont need a sign to say "what is said int he garage stays in the garage". Thats funny but i know in a few months it will either be back on ebay or in the garbage. I am taking pictures tonight. Sorry dont have to much before but i will see what i have on my p.c at home.

Please let me know where you guys get your posters, pictures, decor and what ever else there is for your garage.

You have hooked me up with some parts in the past and I would be willing to print you a few for your new SyTy home!

Shoot me a PM with your mailing address and maybe a couple ideas of what you are looking for and we can discuss.

And wait until you see what MC did with that steering wheel...

Go to the E-town Swap meet. One guy had BF Goodrich (vinyl) posters that were pretty cool. Plus, you can't go wrong with old car parts on the wall.

If I had a nicer garage, I'd also be hitting up dealerships for promotional posters that they hang on the wall and eventually rotate out.

For the record I WILL NOT reproduce the wanted posters.

Those were designed specifically for a limited run to generate income for the Nats and SyTy.net exclusively.

Anything else that TJ has designed requires his approval for me to print.
Any of the background wallpapers make awesome posters though.

Maybe if you are nice to him he will make a wallpaper of your truck and you can have that hanging on the wall!

I love airplanes and get airplane calendars every year.... I put all the old ones up so that I can walk along and changed pics every once in a while... I'll take a pic once my brother gets his stuff out of the shop and I get it cleaned up...

Jim - so nice to see you still around. How are you and the family doing??? Let me ask you this, where did you get the items you have, are they from ebay or just car show and meets? Also you have one that is high on the wall next to the ty. It says typhoon is that a clock?

Hey Vinnie, the family is doing great and I'll be around for awhile.:tup: Most of the items I have were either sold or made by members here on the Forum. They were bought about 5-6 years ago. Yup, that is a clock! A fellow member here was making them and selling them on eBay and I was able to get them custom colored. I don't remember who it was..sorry. Once I get this garage done and have anything left, I'll give you a call and maybe we can work something out. I can't make any promises, but you never know. Hope the family is well with you. Well the garage is almost complete. I didnt take any photos just yet but i did start to put some pictures together in frames to put up on the wall when im done. What you guys think.......I still have a few more to do.

i used to work for miller brewing co. i can see if i have any silk banners or tin signs left over. i know i have some sparks rocket ship tin signs left over. let me know if you want some.
