looking for some wheels

Hey all, I am considering buying some wheels for my white/gray typhoon. I am looking for some used wheels and tires. If anyone has some they'd like to sell, reply back or PM me and let me know what you've got. You just never know what you guys might be wanting to part with. Open to just about any suggestions. thanks Damion

Helping you keep this thread to the top. Good luck finding a set. I can't wait till I have some extra cash so I can finish up my project Sy.

Re: looking for some wheels

do you think those would look good on a white ty with gray gladding? that's my only debate, is with the gray cladding....

white/gray is probably the toughest color combo to put wheels on. Nothing seems to match up perfectly. Just ask phoonty.

Truckless. For now.

oh so true! it's freaking impossible. i've photoshopped just about every possible direct bolt on wheel to my truck... and as much as i hate to admit it, Renz is right.

So far, the best match (at least on my truck which doesn't have stock gray cladding) is C5 Wagons. I don't have them mounted yet, but I did set a rim on the truck to see what it looks like. I'll post it tonight

Re: looking for some wheels

I've got a set of 17" C5 wagon wheels. You'd need spacers in the rear to make them flush.

Re: looking for some wheels

I thought I might have the legit pic here at work but I don't...

I do have a photoshop though:

That should give you some idea. I have 18"s and am planning on running a 1.25" spacer in the rear

Re: looking for some wheels

I thought that the C5 Z06 wheels looked good on a white/grey. The gunmetal color of the wheels matches the grey of the cladding fairly well.

(they were stored in a barn while it got its roof redone....and got covered. If you're interested in them i can take more pics in 2 weekends.

The tires don't have much life left in them. Pretty sure these have wheel sensor in them too as an added bonus.

Yeah, I agree. I like the gun metal color as well. Just looking around to see if I can find a set with tires on them. It can be alot cheaper than buying wheels and then tires separate.

Re: looking for some wheels

Weren't those similar to the ROH wheels? There's a pic somewhere. I'll see if I can dig it up.

Edit: Here's one:

Here's another:

One more edit with another pic and more info:

SyTy wheels have a 4.75" bolt pattern. The 94-96 Impalas have a 5" bolt pattern.
So you'd have to go with the ROH wheels.

And here's the last pic:
