It's still in the fitment stage, but I should have the belly-pan welded in this weekend, and the frame painted and ready for assembly by mid next week. Lot's to do in 5 weeks, but I will say that 338cc & 74 lbs (w/o driver) is a death trap.

holy crap... um, I guess I need to spend the $30 and get the 44mm big bore kit with bigger cylinder head, piston, and accessories and the $7 to upgrade the reed too.

That is going to be a death trap for sure. I am going to make sure i bring my suit for sure becasue I like my skin how it is. hahaha.

Yeah, whereas I would ride the old 49cc chopper w/o a helmet or leathers, that will change with this. I've still got a lot of figuring to do on teeth count and sprockets, but approx top speed at this point is 63mph with decent acceleration. I may sacrifice some top speed to get back the low end.....but with nearly 18ft-lbs of torque on hand.....acceleration shouldn't be a problem.

I made the dive and got the head kit, reeds, and bigger jets. I wont hit no 63mph, but my top end and acceleration should be better.

I have a friend with a #35 chain driven supercharger on an 8hp engine. I'll try that if what I have isn't enough.

Yea Adam I know I have been looking into that for a while and just have been to lazy to order it. I might have to bite the bullet and get it because I do want to be left behind.

IMO the 63 is optimistic even though I took my weight and l lack of aerodynamics into consideration. It'd be great if it did that, but I'm more concerned with as much acceleration as possible. However, too much gearing for low end and it'll eat the brakes and be impossible to hold still whilst idling. I'm ordering a lot of different tooth sprockets, so there will be some big time testing going on for what feels best.

the bike is in pieces..... we had a casualty already. one of the damn piston rings snapped into while sliding it on... DOH. Called the company, they are sending another for free... gonna check tomorrow at the local specialty lawnmower store see if they might have in stock just in case....

fiberglass reed is in.... gotta figure out which jet is gonna work best for the combo.

took some quick pics, i'll get up later. this new head and piston is ALOT bigger than the stocker stuff, heh.

New rings came today and got the bike back together. Gotta go get some gas and put in some break in mileage. This thing should move out now
