1992 Red/Red Typhoon, Very Clean

I feel bad that I haven't been very active on the forum lately, but even more sad that I'm considering selling my truck. Here it is: 1992 Typhoon, a bit over 80k miles. Very, very clean truck, I'd probably even say immaculate. The original owner (president of California's Ferrari club) had it painted Ferrari Red; I get a lot of compliments on the color and shape of both the exterior and interior. I have about $10k in tasteful mods done to it. Some of these include: PTE60 Dual Ball Bearing turbo with 3" stainless downpipe (internal wastegate), rare Borla exhaust, RPM A2A intercooler, Razor's Alky (Methanol) Injection Sytem, Walbro 255 LPH fuel pump, Kenne Bell Boost-a-pump, 50# injectors and 50# Phil Long chip, dual electric fans, Edelbrock Water Pump, SBC IDIII electronic boost controller, B&M torque converter lockup control module, JS Manufaturing tubular upper and lower control arms with coilovers up front, 13" Baer track brake kit up front, Flex-a-Form fiberglass composite leaf springs in the rear (this thing handles like a dream, and rails the corners), sits at the perfect height with the most perfect stance, nice shock and swaybar setup for very neutral performance handling, Dual Odyssey PC680 batteries mounted low on frame (can be seen in picture) with Morosso kill switch, 3 guage pillar with all necessary gauges, nice Kenwood stereo deck (CD&MP3), nice 12" Alumapro sub in ported box and Phoenix Gold amp (easily removable if not desired), 17" ZR1 OEM wheels on nice tires with plenty of tread left, 20% tinted front windows to closely match rear, this car has always been a California car, and it's gotten tons of little love along the way. I have more details and plenty more pictures upon request. Please feel free to email me with questions. Looking to get close to $20k with all mods, and all stock parts included, reasonable offers considered. I'm considering buying another toy and I just wouldn't have the room to keep my Ty. I feel sick to my stomach listing this. :barf:

I believe I checked with the vin once and recall that it was indeed factory red/red, but the original red was a tad bit darker, less brilliant of a red.

Yes, H-Town (Eric), they are a couple of Odyssey PC680's. They're mounted low, out of the way, and they're awesome. I've sold some to a few of the SyTy guys if you're interested (with or without the billet boxes). They're above the frame, don't worry.

The downpipe is a 3" stainless made by tubrotime, but had to be custom modified to make fit properly.

Maybe with all the money he makes from the sale he will finally pay E-Rue for the downpipeS he practically stole.

Alright Eric-Rue, you had better not even get me started. I paid you the cost of every part I bought, plus more. However, I didn't like the fact that you tried to go ahead and charge my card an extra $500 just because you thought it was what I owed you for the extra work you had to undergo trying to get your parts to fit properly. I'd suggest nobody buy anything from this guy, ever. Surprised you're not out of business yet my friend. What a joke; calling me shady... It's people like you that make me not care to be part of this - mostly wonderful - community any longer.

On a lighter note, thanks for the bump R&C

man you guys are nuts... first of all being a parts supplier i would think you'd get your money first then send the product.. 2nd if the product didn't fit.. i would have send the bitch back and got my money back.. not try to fabricate something that was supposed to fit to try and make it fit.. that itself should have been explained before the purchase.. from.. erue?

Their is a thread on it, but basically live1053rulz paid for the first one. He said it didn't fit. Another one was sent (unpaid for) by Turbotime. Live1053rulz was suposed to send the other one back, he hacked both Downpipes to make one for his Ty and then disputed the credit card charges.

Re: 1992 Red/Red Typhoon, Very Clean

I did send the stuff that didn't fit back. He attempted to make it right, but it pipe still didn't fit; not even close. He told me to have them made to fit, so I went ahead and did it. I told him to send a call tag for the leftover parts. He said that wasn't an option and tried to charge my card $500. Seems cut and clear to me. I'd hope that the mods (Dave) would clean this thread up, not add to the bullshit.

Engine Pix???

I'll have to take some updated ones. Basically the same except now it's got the crossover deleted with a silicone elbow and different air filter in the corner, and the aluminum radiator support. It's got an aux. tranny cooler that's barely in the picture too.
