Performin Norman.

He is around off and on, one of the original syty owners.

Oh him.....he is way too fast for the greater majority around here to fool with and way too busy to respond to our nonsense .

BTW I would bet Dobreak would flat out imbarass your best on the twisties!!!!!

I'll lay out $2,500 cash if he will match it (or you can front the money since you are so confident in his abilities) and I will prove my point at Deals Gap, NC (318 curves in 11 miles......I would consider that twisties; wouldn't you?).

:popcorn2: well.......I am patiently waiting (which is the same thing I will be doing at the end of Deal's Gap with my "competition" IF you can back up your bet with substance instead of words).

Re: Bowling Green, KY - Beech Bend Dragstrip

you're out of money...so how are you posting up $2500 in a bet?

Because that was my play money for this month and I can't touch that money until I prove my point (that is IF Jeremy backs up his claim). If he does, I'll have $2,500 extra to spend on you fellers for shirts, dinner, repair parts.....whatever. I wouldn't keep the money for myself......I would direct it back to the moderators to spend as they see fit to help fellow members. I talk a lot of smack sometimes but I know what I am good at and this would be an easy payday!!!!

I know nobody on this side of the TN state line (which you guys are somehow afraid to cross) are taking it personal.

Hmmmm, why else would I go on Mike's ignore list???? On second thought, you might be right.....he is still reading and responding to this thread so it probably is just a front for sympathy. No doubt he is a pretty cool guy like almost everyone else on here but we all have attitudes and I think I chapped his :dunno:. If we didn't have attitudes, we would drive a Ford Focus or Chevy Aveo.

Oh yes, I almost forgot to ask......what exactly do you deem "my problem"?

You seem to have a few. One of your problems seems to be all these jealous SyTy people in "Hawk" mode. We are such bullies!

Your bravado is a bit misplaced me thinks. I just got done with a cross country journey in a 2008 Z06 a few weeks ago and had a great time at the corvettes at Carlisle gathering. Great car, but being 220 pounds and 6"4 exposed some shortcomings; among my gripes are the seats.
We did get up past 1g on the "G" meter and approached 150 mph a few times. We also found out chicks in convertible mustangs love a Red Z06.

Anyway, you definitely have bought your way into a special fraternity, but it aint as special as you seem to think it is...

Does he even have a bike?

Bike!!!!! We are talkin 4 wheels here.

You wouldn't show anyway! Just like Bowling Green.

If you got a hard on to bet, here is one for ya. Your Tricked out mod out Syclone vs my STOCK Syclone. I don't do illegal street racin(I actually have a racing carear not figments of my imagination) so it will have to at a Real Track.

Oh and I thought the 27th you were going to BG to run low 11's in your vette? I guess you are so bad ass you will be at both places.:screwy:

That would be just as unfair. Mike said his truck run's an 18 second 1/4 mile. He wouldn't even be a quarter of the way across the gap when I finished.

I never initially suggested even appearing at BG....you guys did. I agreed to come IF the car was legal....it wasn't so get over it. On the other hand, I did initially suggest a run through Deal's Gap so try my resolve if you are man enough.

I'm sure you meant "career". Anyway, it's NOT what you do now so you must not have been as successful as you dream you were at your racing career. I don't have a hardon to bet.....you used that language regarding Dobrick and me cutting through the twisties so I put up some monetary figures to see if YOU were really a betting man. Nice stab at trying to change the topic at hand though and call me out since I posted my Syclone is loading up during boost.....I bet you picked on kids in school when their arms or legs were in braces instead of when they were at full strength and BTW, your Syclone is NOT stock. You might be running a stock turbo but your Sy is not stock!! Nice try.

Oh and I thought the 27th you were going to BG to run low 11's in your vette? I guess you are so bad ass you will be at both places.:screwy:

For $500, I was willing to alter my plans and go to BG until Mike declined. I sincerely thought he had a pretty quick Syclone or Typhoon but I am not changing my trip for a measly bracket race, thus my vacation stayed as scheduled. Thought the average Joe could have figured that out :dunno:. Since you are so sure he will annihilate me in the twistes (which is where I shine), bring it!!! Bring the cash too for a neutral party to hold.....don't worry, I'll spot you $100 for gas money back home and the rest can go to SyTy.org :).

Finally, a No Show is one who commits to appear and without just cause, doesn't show up. I have been invited to two events by you guys and came to one. This last absence was conditioned beforehand. If you can't make it to Deals Gap next weekend, or financially equip Mike to come, that makes you guys a No-Show so we can all be friends again. MAYBE, if all the forum members feel as confident as you that Mike can beat me through the Gap with his truck (you have me sitting here chuckling), a PayPal account can be created for that purpose for members to contribute to. I'll throw up the $2500 on my end myself. Now, I bounce the ball back to you, :popcorn2:.

Well, if I have a few, you only ID'd one and even that is not accurate. Most of the time, when someone posts on here about their sports car / truck and it is NOT a SyTy, plenty of members blast them and belittle their ride. Happens all too often. I am NOT your enemy!! I have a Syclone sitting in the garage, which (yes) is where you will usually find it. Great little trucks for what they are but when input is only made to degrade my automobile(s), I will fire back . Call it aggresive, cocky, arrogant....whatever, but I buy and drive quality stuff and would be less than a coward to sit back and let the Northern frontier humiliate the South. Jimmy leaked the Z06 on here and since then, the insulting has ensued. I am a big boy though and know the real deal but I could have used better terminology to get my point across instead of generalizing "all these jealous SyTy people". Forgive me and please allow me to play during recess tomorrow ;).

Re: Bowling Green, KY - Beech Bend Dragstrip

i'm pretty sure when it was mentioned that dobrick would best your time....it was being implied that he could best your time in your z06 - meaning he's a better driver than you...not that his truck is faster than your z06.

That doesn't even make good horse sense!! That's the equivalent of saying I could have more kids with someones wife (than they can have) if I can borrow her to prove my point.....stupid logic. BTW, I can race someone elses bike faster on the track than my own because I could care less if theirs lowsides through an apex while I am ragging it out.

It would be best not to even make a bet if you can't back it up! I smell a No Show, which I perceived from the get go. Oh well, I hope it was all in fun. If you all wanna come to Deal's Gap next Saturday and test your skill against mine, come on......but you gotta bring your own ride :). My number is 931-249-7656 if you want to meet up there. This thread is about dead.....lots of talking but nothing substantial is coming out of it so I am moving on to bigger and better things. I'll post a video when I go to the track for everybody to see

Re: Bowling Green, KY - Beech Bend Dragstrip

no one in their right mind would agree to a race, much less a $ race....on a public road known to be heavily travelled and heavily patrolled. Speaking of making no horse sense

The only way to settle these kind of pissing matches is at a track where you have an unbiased timer (digital clocks at a track) clocking both racers.

You obviously have never been to Deal's Gap. Their high traffic area is between Memorial Day and Labor Day (I virtually lived up there from 1990 - 1999) and have been there plenty of times between then and now. BTW, races for $$ happen all the time on public streets. I agree it is not the brightest of ideas nor the most logical but it happens quite often. If they wanna take it to a closed course; I am fine with that too. Matter of fact, there is a nice road course in Mid Ohio and I would be willing to travel there before mid-November (if they have an open track day scheduled) to iron this out. I agree with you that it is the only way this will be settled and put to rest but I sure liked it when Jeremy broadened the parameters to include something more than a straight line. I have my doubts that he has enough backbone to back up his claim though. Time will tell.......
