Someday, when I'm very rich. I will trake apart the whole truck and paint all the cladding, replace parts, take the bed off, etc. I was afraid of not being able to find the clips, if I broke them. Most of the cladding is fairly tight on the truck. I can let you know what issues I have. Since I've had it this truck rarely sees any outisde time. I plan on only taking it to car shows and the occasional drag race or autox event.

Here are a few more pictures I took this afternoon. I got pulled over by the Sheriff's Dept for not having a front plate on the SY. I explained the truck was just freshly painted and hadnt had a chance to put the front bumper on. I guess the fact that I had no rear window, tailgate, left side box cladding & rusted old tailgate in the bed helped plead my case. I had the front plate behind the seat, which I showed him when he handed me the written warning. I had time to snap a pic.

Jay, the truck looks sweet. I have the same hood too and love it.

I'm thinking about changing it this year. It was supposed to read Vette Eater. Here in WY unlike TX we only get 4 letters. They are supoposed to change it to 5, hopefully. I wish I had my TX registration.

Paint it with the cladding removed and then have a clear thin line of 3M film follow the the edging of the cladding. this way if it moves it won't damage the paint.

Well part of it was paint booth time, the other was it wasnt ready (my fault). I may eventually put it back on. I know others looked down upon it. Maybe too ricer-ish. I really like the Nascar truck look like RY368's Sy from Denver aka the former Katy, TX SY (Dave, I think). I am going to blacken the tailights out & that will change the look a little.
