O2 mv were at 928 when it only reaches 15 psi. But that makes sense because I’m running alky and if there is not enough boost its going to run rich. I have the alky turning on at 6 psi. You may ask me why I have it turning on at 6 psi....? There is a lot of controversy about this it seems. I turn the fuel down and add small amounts of alky at 6 psi. I spool really fast and the alky needs time to adjust for the boost. Also turning it on at 6psi gives you cooling properties as well. According to Datamaster I have tuned my truck to run 12.8 so far. If I was bogging it down with fuel there is no way I would reach that. My EGT also is running fairly cool. If I was pushing too much alky it sky rockets. Trust me I have taken out my O2 sensor already by dumping too much alky.

I got a new cap and rotor. I had to break the rotor to get it off. There is some white build up on the inside of the cap on the posts.

Your boost is not limited to 15 psi even w/a 2 bar map senser.
I ran 18-19 PSI w/a 2 bar. ET 12.29 @ 108 No alky,Pittbull street chip.
Boost solinoid,vacuum lines ,a place to start.
Inlet restriction,dirty air fiter,blockage,etc.
Temporarely wire shut your wastgate flapper valve,see if it goes over 15,,,,,but be carefull!!!
That way,you know your turbo can produce the PSI,then you can look at other things. :2cents:

Well on a stock truck if you get over 15 psi with a 2 bar it shuts you down man.
I have all the vacuum lines replaced, new boost soliniod, new air filter.
My turbo can produce the psi. I can get it up to 24 psi before I started having problems.

That is with a stock chip,it shuts you down. The chip shuts you down,,,not a two bar sensor.

So you wired shut your wastegate & seen 24 PSI?
Or it got 24 PSI before & now it does not?

I bought a cap and rotor today. I will give that a shot. Then just about my whole ignition was been changed out. I had put new plugs in like 3 weeks ago. I gaped them to .028

O2 mV really are worthless. The day I got my Wideband hooked up into the DataMaster log & stock ECM, the first thing I did was compare my old O2 mV from similar past logs, to the Wideband AFR line on my new logs. There was virtually NO CORRELATION at WOT!!!

What did you mean by "According to DataMaster I have tuned my truck to run 12.8 so far."? Do you have a Wideband, and is it logging into your ECM wiring? If not, I think you might be mistaken about that 12.8. Check the Tuner's Guide to DataMaster on my website - I talk about that "Target AFR" field that you might be looking at, and how useless it is in stock form.

The main thing to know about alcohol injection is that it's adding fuel, and since chips like the Ultimate are already programmed with "enough" fuel, you have to take some out to compensate for the alcohol you're adding. You can do it the poor man's way (lower fuel pressure) or the correct way (run an alcohol chip like the ones I offer for free on my website, or do your own chip tuning.)

Maybe I am mistaken about the 1/4 mile calculator. I just used the quarter mile calculator and started it at the point of 0 mph and then logged it to 120. Im sure I will not trap 120 mph in the 1/4 mile. I just wanted to be sure I went fast enough. It cant calculate it from that?

LOL @ Me. I re-read our exchange. You were talking about "12.8" and how "it can't be bogging down with fuel" in the same sentence. I assumed you were talking about your Lean 12.8:1 Wideband AFR readings. :) Sorry for the mix-up.

From what you said it sounds like you're using the Quarter Mile Calculator correctly. If your DM QMC's say 12.8 ETs then I say "Well done"!! You're already on your way to having a Fast Stock Turbo Truck. :D :tup:
