Im installing my gauges today and i bought 2 of those buss fuse taps.

I know im installing one to ignition. I was gona tap into that wire to run a few more power wires for the gauges as well. Would this cause any issues with normal operation?
Im also looking for another place to stick my other fuse tap. Any suggestions would be awesome.

Or, hell if there is a better way to go about wiring these leme know.

Re: Switched power supply

well, i like to keep it all apart, so you could install a relay with main power coming from the battery (with fuse). and use that remote wire for the relay.

than add fuses after that for all the gauges.. i did that to my truck..when you have an problem you knoy where to look.

Re: Switched power supply

I dont have a stereo, would that fuse work as a switched power?
Ill go search my toolbox and see if i can find a relay to work. heh

Re: Switched power supply

i put all those links and relays were my stock radio was in. you can use both wires from the stereo. without going to the battery
12v+ wire can be used as feed lined for the relay
ign. 12v+ for remote control after that add a fuse box
