The seatback has a "Rotor" shape built into it. RX-8s have Rotary engines and that shape is common in and around the car. Rotary engines have little triangles inside that sorta flop around and manage to compress air. ;-)

Seeing those seats in a car, well I'd half expect to find a rotary engine under the hood.
