Well i had a CBR Kit from 6months ago and figure since truck was down i would get it done and see how much it improves with new motor.

Comparision Photo Stock Vs. F-Body Caliper

Removal of Spindle and Hub assemble

Modify Stock Spindles and then Glass Bead

Alittle Rust-o-leum Black to protect

New Hub, CBR Bracket, & Painted Spindle assembled

We haven't even fired up the new motor yet. She will be running this week. I had sold my SSBC calipers to guy and needed to get them off and shipped.

Once its fired up and running i will be posting video of everything.

Thanks. The diffrence from stock to a stock camaro is shocking.

Have also the CBR setup with Vette Z06 calipers and BAER 13" discs but not installed yet.
but its like you.
I need to make time.

I like your front suspension
How drives the suspension setup and wheres it from RPM - JSM? or ?
I also want similar setup on myty but I can't deside from who
you also got the rear coilovers?

Of course one of the calipers defective had a small knick by banjo fitting wouldn't stop leaking.

Waiting for new one!

I hope you used Locktite. The bolts back out way too easy on our trucks.

Those are RPM coilovers. It comes with the a-arms you see and qa1 shock and spring combo. Big weight savings and less clutter. Also, the brake kit is from CBR performance. Look for them in the vendor section of the board. There is talks of a group buy for the kit the beginning of February. You should probably check it out. :tup:

Are the 12" f bodies the biggest brakes that will fit under stock Sy wheels. I dont want to change the wheels but want better brakes. Is the mounting bracket you used the only aftermarket part and the rest just factory F body parts? If so, where is the bracket from and how much?

Yeah, that's about as big as will fit behind the stock wheels. The mounting is the only aftermarket part. You can pick up stock f-body calipers, rotors and pads. The bracket is from CBR. Look in the vendor's marketplace to find out more about them.

Very nice I bought the aniversary trans am calipers becuase i though they were powder coated if they are is is very thin coating and not the quality i expected from GM

Dude, if you dissassemble and degrease them, ill powder coat them any color you want. Pay shipping and maybe like $20 for the powder and labor...let me know if you are inerested.

you do need to do some cutting and grinding to the stock spindles to fit the CBR Adapter plates that bolt through the hub bolts and then it mounts the caliper bracket right in place, mine fit like a glove, only issue i had was some defects with the stock calipers, so inspect them wisely when you pick them up from your parts store.

On the foot brake i held 7 psi of boost without even trying.

:rant: I see parts will be breaking in the driveline this year :rant:
