My trans doesnt shift from 3-4 at WOT

Hi guys! Im fairly new to the Syclone. I hardly go WOT with it, but last week I decided to stretch her legs.

I took her down a long strip of road, and found out my transmission doesnt shift out of 3rd at WOT. My transmission feels solid under normal conditions, as well as when I go WOT. No slippage at all. But when that 3-4 shift comes around at WOT, it just wont shift. What gives? My Syclone has 73k on the odo, and hardly gets abused.

i think at WOT the shift is a later than under normal driving speeds. don't feel bad, mine wont shift 3-4 and i have 81K on mine and mine only does at about 64mph if at all but has not problem at WOT around 75 i think maybe slightly higher

Someone rebuilt your trans? Are you sure it is the stock one?

Yes, Im the second owner. My dads brother is the first owner. He has never had the trans worked on. The trans fluid is nice and red too.

Mine did this too but once I redid the vacum lines it seem to fix it? I am not sure why and the trans felt perfect otherwise except under WOT between 3-4 shift.

simple fix, i have the valve and the sleeve here, will fix the 3-4 wot upshift. $50 shipped. new in box.

This has been cover a gazallion times. Were you in OD when you tried this? I have found most SyTy transmission that doesn't 3-4 shift at WOT, will do the shift if you do it manual from D to OD high RPM.
