Looks like the weather that just went through Ocala has a chance to hit Reynolds this weekend. Of course, it may die out or change course altogether. Either way, we'll have fun (wet or dry). I've learned to put little faith in the weather forecast at that track. Last year it was 100% chance and we had sunshine & racing until 5 pm when it did finally start raining.

Tim, U-haul is $29 per day and .89 per mile (.69 if you can pick it up today) for a truck. I really hope that you get some good news today and can make it.

Update: they've already lowered the rain chance for the weekend. 30% down from 50%. Looks like we might dodge a bullet here.

Whoever arrives first, go ahead and scout out a location to do some pocket-biking. Don't wanna get tossed from the hotel and the vacant lot next door is now an AutoZone.

I am super ****ing pissed at my buddy who promised me a month ago I could use his truck. This is a friend who I helped move out of his wifes apartment because they were getting a divorce when she stole the truck from him for two weeks and I drove him around, went out with him at that time because he was depressed and bought the drinks (3 weeks in a row) and this is the kinda friend he shows himself to be.

The only option I have is my dads truck. A 2000 Ford Ranger, its two wheel drive but has the 4x4 options on it. I've been looking online and it says it's rated to tow to just under 8k lbs. If I can steal it from him, and take it easy I might be able to make it. But I doubt it at this point.

Hood, I'll work something out. If I dont make it to you, at least you'll get another check in the mail for all the parts lol. And I'll just stock pile the rest of the shit with the truck. Renting a u-haul would cost me way to much. The milage part would kill me, ontop of gas there and back. I'd be spending around $850 jsut to get it there and drive back. Minus the hotel, food, and anything at all I'd like to get up there.

Next year, or when you guys put together the southeast thing like Adam brought up earlier in this thread, I'll be sure to make it.

im pretty sure we are sticking to meeting in ocala, so hopefully you can score a ride before tomorrow afternoon.

Actually, the racing is on Sunday. We'll probably go to Test-n-Tune on Saturday night, though. My guess:

- Wake up and find some food.
- 10 am or so, we'll probably start cleaning and tuning trucks.
- Find some lunch.
- Race pocket bikes and tune/wrench some more.
- Head to the track around 5-6 pm.
- Find supper afterwards.

I'm gonna try and dig up some other activities, but that's been the schedule for years past.

Looks like the weather in Ft. Valley/Reynolds is moving fast enough that it won't bother us this weekend. It'll be damp from the rain, but should hopefully be gone. FAST guys may get into a bit of it on the way up. Be careful guys.

yeah we had a tornado in eustis lastnight. Wasnt to bad, only a few snall things, and one house got it. I'm Good.

I didnt get a truck. So I cant make it. I'll try for another time to come up. :(

I guess I get the "First Causality Award". 34 miles from home, the mild whirring sound that had begun a few miles earlier turned into loud clanking and thrashing from under the hood. Pulled it over on Hwy 75 to discover my fan assembly had nearly launched itself out of the truck. All accessible bolts were tight, so nothing to do but call AAA. Mona and I made it back home in time to jump in the STI and head north again. Rolled in about 8:30 and glad we made it!

Make that 2 casualties- I had transmission line issues just before Chattanooga. I patched it and turned around. Maybe next time!

Ian busted ass riding the mini-chopper in the BK parking lot. At least he went down laughing and got back up still laughing.

i hit probably around 40mph at the track while riding pope's minibike. luckily, i made it without scars.....however, the night is young and i got some more riding to do....

Update:

3 pm - Got tossed from the hotel due to pocket bike noise.

11 pm - Got tossed from Burger King due to pocket bike noise.

2 am - Got cops called on us at Burger King after we went back when they closed up.....pocket bike noise.

3 am - Got tossed from Lane Packing Co. due to pocket bike noise.

No one else laid it down and we just had some of the best fun I've ever had at a SyTy event. Can't remember laughing that hard in a long time.

Off to the track now......
