I know its trivial but NHRA conversion factor of 1.6 says that is a 9.67 run. I know from my truck its more like a 1.56 conversion
maybe in a rwd and aerodynamic vehicle.

Re: Congrats to Jamie Hacking

the factor of 1.56 works well with every vehicle I have taken to the track. I never said its perfect or exactly accurate but it is a good way to judge. try it out on the timeslip page and see how close it is to everyones

we had a little tail wind when I set this time. I have been messing around with setup on both front and rear shock damping, and also the TC lockup. I recently also added a A/W setup and that helped alot.

Are you datalogging on the runs? If so, what are your intake temps getting up to?

Nice Syclone Jamie. Very impressive times at the track.

Re: Congrats to Jamie Hacking

I doubt that 60 foot time is accurate. For comparison Hoover had a best 60 foot of 1.34 going 5.78@122 mph at Huntsville so carding a 1.24 but only going 107.7 hints to either timing system error or staging with the back tires. :2cents: My .02 cents worth.

Or just doesn't run as much boost / make as much high end power as the hoover truck. Its possible....

I agree, the timing certainly sounds off on that run. Here's the other post:

First pass of 10.50@128
1.6 60'
6.7@105

second pass of 10.50@130
1.54 60'
6.7@105

It seems unbelievable to jump to a 1.27 60' and only gain 2 MPH in the 1/8 yet 0.5 sec ET. Were there any other runs with 60's anywhere near the 1.2s?

Still a real nice looking truck, one of the nicest highly modified ones I've seen. Looks totally stock on the outside, except the Z06 rims..

The tires are BFG drag radial on the front and MT ET streets on the rear. I was not staged with the rear tires. i thought the 1.24 was a little of myself. the next pass was a 6.42 with a 1.40 60ft at 108mph, but the weather had changed quite a bit wind and the temp. those times you see the 6.70's are at Rockingham I had some traction issuse there.

Hey Jamie, is the Sy or the Kawasaki quicker out the hole ? In this heat those numbers are incredible. Lets get together and go back to Jackson ( The House of Hook ). My truck is ready and Wallers is almost ready with a new look and some added safety equipment. Lee

Nice truck Jaime! Congratualtions on your run! Wow, I didn't even know you were an NC owner, if you get a chance join our local Yahoo group for GM powered v6 turbo vehicles. We have gatherings about every month somewhere around the state, perhaps you could join us sometime.
