92 Ty #0014's progress

Well, it started a few months ago with me buying a broken Ty for $3,700, looking like this:

And now she looks like this (ignore the lack of rear spacers and the missing center caps on the front wheels, I haven't had time to cut the axles yet):

Well, that's it. Just over $5k invested total. I'm not complaining

I have a Ty in almost identical condition but no motor... I am debating on parting out, selling as a roller, or rebuilding... Just don't know what cost is likely involved here...

Good job Austin, hopefully I can ,make up there soon and really check it out. If you want, I have a 3" lowering block you can have with u-bolts.

Thanks for the input guys. I know it needs to be lowered, and I'm going to take Mike up on his 3" blocks. I'm probably not going to drive it to NATS, but that might change. Oh, and it's not as clean as it looks in the pictures, there is still rust on the fenders, roof, and tailgate.

I'm not affaid of catching rust in KC, just something going wrong on the trip out/back, or at the track

I drove the primer ty to homecoming and back...and raced. nothing broke. anything is possible.
