So I put it down below my battery tray and the cables do not fit. I was told that they do.

What did you all do to make them fit in your trucks? how did you secure them? Pictures would be WONDERFUL! hehe

here is a picture from directly above the passenger fender.

Mine lays flat. I cheated though & cut off the stock battery connectors & soldered on some lugz.

What'd you do with the vac. ball?

Nope. Lays flat in that spot below the battery.

I cut some thick rubber from the bed mat that was in the syclone. I used this and cut holes for those 3 bolts that tie the inner fender to the core support. This created a bed for the battery to sit on so that those fenderwell bolts don't destroy the battery.

I'd take pic's, but I'd have to remove the ATR CAI to do so & I'm to lazy tonight.

As for the lugz, I mean like these

Re: Odyssey PC680 Mounting Questions...

When you mention cables don't fit, you prolly mean the bolts from the stock battery have course threads and the 680 terminals have different fine/metric(?) threads. My 925 came with a set of new bolts in the box. Remove old ones and use some new bolts with washers/star washers for some surface area and contact on the cables.

No I mean the cables arent long enough to reach the bottom of the fender well.

See the pics? the neg cable is stretched as far as it will go.

Re: Odyssey PC680 Mounting Questions...

Oh....so looks like you'll need to get some lugz like 4C FED's and maybe ~2 feet of welding cable for the reach. getting THERE is half the fun....

Re: Odyssey PC680 Mounting Questions...

I was asking because many people have said that they used the stock wires & terminals. I just dont know how they did it.

Re: Odyssey PC680 Mounting Questions...

Yup, my Positive cable reached the 925 as it's layed on the fender but the Negative had to be extended w/lugz-n-cable.

when you order the battery you should have ordered the adaptor terminals as well. thats what you need and thats why yours doesnt fit.

Re: Odyssey PC680 Mounting Questions...

if you have the adaptors and they dont fit then somethings up with your bolts or maybe the adaptors. simple process of elimination. see if your bolts fit a std battery. if they do you have the wrong adaptors. and vise versa.

Re: Odyssey PC680 Mounting Questions...

I think there is a mis-understanding. The terminals dont fit because the cables are too short.
