CFM for GT35R?

Wondering if anyone knows? I am piecing my A2A set up together as I will be buying it soon and the FMIC I want says its recommended for up to 800CFM. Well, next year or hopefully sooner, I plan on buying a GT35R, maybe even a 40, not sure yet. Probably the 35 though. Just want to kow if I should look at another IC. W2A is out of the question.

Not sure about the CFM rating on the turbo, but mine has been breathing through an RPM FMIC and a 58mm TB for some time now and it seems perfectly happy with that combo.

Re: CFM for GT35R?

For the most part, I've been seeing IAT's around 115 - 120 degrees, that was in 85 - 90 degree weather. I also think that I could drop them 10 - 15 degrees if I heat wrapped the intake tube, as it does get pretty warm from the turbo after driving for a bit. I expect that would be about the best the system could do without a cooling fan or alky

Re: CFM for GT35R?

define "normal" :rotf: .... when I was doing datalogging, for the most part I was flogging the truck pretty well to get better data to tune from. I think I've maxed them out at about 125 at the very end of a run but they come down quickly. I can load up some of the DM files I have from testing and verify the numbers this weekend, but that is what I remember.

IIRC, it will hold at ~100 just cruising on the highway, but when you start getting into load and boost they came up
