Re: braided fuel line.

I bended the s#!t out of my factory lines pulling my motor. Getting the lines out is a pain if you don't have the trans out. Ask Mike at RPM. I just did this it is easy.

From RPM
2 - 14mm to 6an $15.00 each
2 - 16mm to 6an $15.00 each

From Summit
2 - 6 ft - 6an line $27.88 each
3 - 6an straight connections $4.88 each
1 - 90 degree 6an connection $13.95 each

Total: $139.47 plus tax and shipping

You also need some of these http://store.summitracing.com/partd...4294839033+4294846461+400081+115&autoview=sku

Re: braided fuel line.

if your gonna compare apples to apples you atleast need to be talking the same size line and fittings. if your only doing -6an with a majority of straight hose ends, its gonna be alot cheaper!

Re: braided fuel line.

In no way was I trying to compare. So far I have very happy with RPM's products and Mike Lee's service. He has been great to me and a big help. I figured his kit was better then anything I could make at home. Right now I am on a budget with so many money things going on right now. I just want to see my truck run, smog it and drive it for the summer. I have had it for 1 1/2 years and only put 1100 miles on it. I want to enjoy it. Thanks.

Don't forget you can save some cash (about $15) by using the handy link in this post: http://www.syty.net/forums//showpost.php?p=371596&postcount=21

These are -06 AN but they are also only $15 from summit (SUM-220009) for the 2 piece kit.

Re: braided fuel line.

its too bad they dont have em in 8 or 10an... would save us time from machining down metric adatpor fittings.

or for 10$ more I can get 15 feet of hose and cut in in half. 6 feet looks like it might be a tight fit?

I just did this mod when we put the 80e in, 6 Feet for each line was more then enough. I still had to cut them shorter. But I was only taking the 2 hard lines out back to where they connect to the flexible lines. So unless you are going all the way back to the filter and the tank, then 2 6 feet lines are more then enough.

Re: braided fuel line.

I went with the 15 feet and used the frame to mount to and I had extra. Would think the 2 6 foot pieces would have worked.
