Hose into air intake? *Big pic*

What is this going into the air intake? It looks like some type of hose, but is it a temp sensor or what? It's going into a plastic bend connected to the air filter.

I think that is the breather / PVC hook up for the KB cold air kit..... I think, yea pretty sure?

looks to be a pcv valve , trace it and it probably goes to the valve cover.

thats correct, it goes to the "T" in the left valve cover with the pcv valves.

Yea that is for the pcv valve which is located under your upper ic on the valve cover.. you'll want to leave it alone

AKA PVC valve # 2 so that you can have some semblance of crankcase ventilation under boost. The other one that goes to the TB is for when yur not making boost. Got that? There will be a test on Monday...

What if you have an air filter right off the turbo. where do you run that line to? Or do you remove it and just have 1 pcv direct to the tb??

you can keep it and make a nipple for the hose off of the air filter connector. but ppl down here remove it without problems. so i did the same and havent had any problems. :2cents:

You'd have to sneak it in-between the turbo and the filter somehow. Or, do the catch can thing. Thing is the PCV valve that goes to the TB ceases operation when you go into boost and what you don't want is any crankcase pressure so it's gotta go somewhere.

I put a small filter over it and touched it away... with the amount pressure they things can make I want to make sure I don't prevent my pcv system from helping releave those pressures when needed you know
