why are those the only choices? how about if latch shafts were on the underside of the hood and latched on either corner through the rad support?

nope won't work - - won't clear the air intake elbows

look at the hood pins on Bob's cuda they add detail to the hood.

That car is more rounded though, and the headlights on that car really set them off because they're the same style. I personally like hoodpins and the ones you've created look good IMO. Maybe just a little slimmer though

that cudda is also a "muscle car" and they have always looked good on that era of cars/trucks. i like them too when they are on the right car. you can take a rust bucket strait 6 1968 4-door nova and put hoodpins on it without them being out of place. i think with all the effort to be one off and to have the super high standards you have implicated on this build would only bring it down a notch to have 60's and 70's trend on such a modern style of build. but then again. its your trailer it will be riding on and your check book, so you have your vision and your ideas and they all seem to work even though they might not all sound like they will. thanks and i will be dispersing out two cents to everyone who read this..........

do what you want and whatever makes you happy.

I'm not a fan of hoodpins, but then again i've never spent enough money to buy a house on a car/truck, its your dream car/truck.

ps: the design of the hoodpins looks nice.

Maybe all of us GT owners should replace our latches with hood pins. Then they'll have to make fun of all of us! >.>

The truth hurts man  ... doesn't matter, the engine in the GT cost more than the whole truck did too... I've almost spent 10x what I bought it for

Wanna hear an interesting story?

This Sonoma GT had a rough life before Marty. A guy named Martin owned it. Martin lived in Valparaiso, IN and was a motorcycle stunt rider. He rode wheelies on his Honda CBR600F4 and then drove to parties in his beat up old Sonoma with 165,000 miles. One night he was leaving a party and messin' around with some friends, he flipped his poor little beater truck over in a ditch. Luckily it was only on its side. Well, he and his friends simply pushed it back onto its wheels and he drove home. No serious damage, just cosmetic damage to the driver's side. No one ever bothered to tell him that this was Sonoma GT 334 out of 806. To him it was a beat up old Sonoma and he wanted a new truck. If only he could see it now!

The 1st time I went to his house I was like, "DUDE! You have a Sonoma GT!"
He said, "Oh that piece of crap? Yeah I want a new truck"
I said, "Hold on a minute, I think I have you a buyer...."

Yet Marty wont let me ride it ever again...

PS
The pictures are taken in the parking lot of a little strip plaza where they have a bar we would goto. Behind is an apartment complex where we had a buddy who lived there. Need I explain anymore? lol
