2nd Gen S-10 Wanna-Be
just thought i'd introduce myself before i start lurking, i'm Jason, a regular over a s10forum, was following the progress of marlborosyclone's buildup, and i decided to break down and get registered over here, and start learning more about the sy/ty's...and try to get some guidance into what direction i want to go with my truck, its nothing special now, just a 98 regular cab stepside, 2.2 5 speed...i'd eventually like to makea cloned 4.3 turbo, or maybe even get my hands on a Grand National motor, and build one of those, plans for the truck would be coilovers on all 4 corners, maybe backhalved with a 4 link, narrowed 9" rear with discs, t-56, and a 2 tone charcoal gray over black paintjob with silver breaking it up, sitting on 18" torq thrust 2 classics...maybe like an 8.5" in front and a fat 10" out back..something mean...here's a rough photoshop of what i'd want it to look like...someone did it for me, so it isn't exactly my touch, but its pretty close...anyways just thought i'd stop by, thanks for havin me.
