1992 Typhoon #0014's resurection (Updated 3/25)

Well, after being parked for more than 4 years, #14 drove for the first time today. It still misfires, but at least It's running. I had to rebuilt the tranny pump, pull the alarm, replace the ECM, do a complete tune up, but it was worth it

Can you tell how we got it up the driveway?

Fix the misfire, yes. Paint is still up in the air though...

Well, the misfire was just a vacuum leak. Now if I could just fix this false knock, I'd be set :D

Looks like it really needs some attention. Good luck.

It's actually not that bad. Just needs a few body panels, and some paint, but all of the hard parts are all there.

But, I just found out my false knock is real knock  (although I guess it easier to track that down  )

Have fun with that rust over the rear window  ... and hopefully no surprises under the cladding, I found some of those on the GT

Meh, I have a roof off a Blazer sitting at my father in laws, so I'm not too worried

I bought a rust free 2 door blazer for $50, sold the wheels for $100, the front grill/bumper/bracket for $50, etc. I'm as happy as a tornado in a trailer park

Well Austonium took me for a spin in that junk box last night, all I have to say is DAMN. That truck runs really well, the ONLY thing I could pick out wrong with the truck that was not exterior cosmetics is the damn rear window squeak. runs great, good job Mears!

and about those Ty floor mats......
