Front propshaft bolt part #'s?

God I feel like a newbie. I've searched everything I could think of, and found nada. I need the part numbers for the front propshaft bolts (both the front and rear set). My Chevy dealer says they are the same as a Blazer  (BTW, I know they aren't because I asked to see the ones they were talking about, and they were way off. Had a hex head, and all 8 bolts were the same  )

Just get them from Mike. Comes with locktite and everything. Much better than the stock crap that strips off.

I always have several sets boxed ready to ship at all times . All I have to do is fill in the "TO" section on the address label...

Morgan, PM me your info and I'll give you the sweet hook up

Here is my newbie question. Why is it so expensive for a few bolts? Can those not be found locally?

Mega strength bolts = expensive, but well worth it. Kinda like ARP head bolts

FWIW Since I switched to a Gilbert shaft I have a set of Mike's front bolts only. Unused, if anyone's interested. LMK

Yes it is :). I make no qualms about supporting the folks who help maintain this board for the benefit of all.

Thanks for the quick payment ! I took an extra set with me into work today so that I could possibly mail them out after work. Unfortunately I had to work over so the post office was closed by the time I was out the door. I will ship them out first thing in the morning on my way into work tomorrow, 3/14. You should have them by Friday.

You may be able to purchase these at your local hardware store. But I can guarantee you they won't be the same tensile strength. I purchase these fasteners from a warehouse that sells nothing but industrial fasteners. They have a nut on the parts counter that is bigger than a basketball. It is used on off shore drilling platforms and is marked $1200... My old job was less than 15 minutes away from this warehouse. Now I am 70 miles away so my only option is to get these bolts shipped to me which isn't cheap.

My price is $20 shipped. Priority Mail is $4.05, the Loctite that I include with my sets is $1.65 a tube and you get two tubes. I don't recall what I paid for the last shipment of bolts but they are not the $.15 variety that you are going to get at the hardware store. See where this is going? I'm not getting 8 bolts for $1.20 and making $18.80 on every set that I sell. Far from it. I offer an alternative to the factory bolts for a nominal charge. The dimensions of the bolts has always been given in my link below so that anyone could buy the "cheap" fasteners if they wanted to. That information is given freely so that prospective buyers can choose between buying them from me or trying to obtain them on their own. I'm all about choice
