overboost/fuel cut

ok so i am overboosting with the stock ecu/2 bar map due to the cold weather, so for a quick fix i disconnected the boost solenoid so i would run 8-9 lbs. i am still overboosting and cutting out at wot in 3rd and 4th......any ideas on what the fix is for this? i thought maybe a sticking wastegate since ours pretty much suck

remove the rod and check if the wastegate sticks. You could try to lengthen the rod.

yep if you remove the rod from the puck and it still makes boost, then you have a stuck wastegate puck..

Make sure it moves freely, and make sure you actually have a catalytic converter.
