Check your settings the pictures show up ok on mine. let me know and I can e-mail them to you if need be.

All I get is SY2455's pics and one of SY2932 pics.

I was thinking instead of moving the battery to the bed I could just put the filter under the battery tray and delete the vac ball. Since the lines run right by there anyway. If you guys are saying there is room I'll trust you.

Just relocate your battery and then you'll have all the room you need.

Here's how mine was done... cut the pressure line on the output side of the tranny and spliced in a canister filter. It sits right between the fenderwell and the intercooler tubing. Has been working fine for me thus far.

That's what I was thinking, but I think I'm too lazy to figure out how. If I could just slap it under the battery tray that would be easier.

Re: Where to mount a remote tranny filter?

Just got my remote filter housing and I'm going to tap it for the temp sender.

To me it looks like the temp sender might obstruct the flow of trannsmission fluid by taking up extra space where the filter flows on the out side. If the volume of that little area is 1.75 (pi x radius^2 x height) and you put the sender in there which has an approx volume of 0.25 that takes up a significant amount of volume approximately 15%.

Did anyone happen to notice what it looked like on the inside of the housing with the temperature sender installed?

Just being cautious because I don't want to muck up my transmission. The whole point of these parts are to prolong life.

Yes, the temperature sender protudes into the passage way quite a bit. The remote transmission filter that I had on my S10 that I wrecked still has the sender attacted. I can take a pic of it from the filter side once I get home tonight.

A little difficult to see but, you get the picture.

NPT threads taper 3/4 of inch per foot, that is what allows them to seal. After you tap about half the length of the tap, STOP and screw in the sender to check for fit. You WANT to have a few threads left exposed when it is installed. If it is not deep enough, continue tapping until it is.
