Re: turbo ?

That depends on the heads , cam ,and convertor you match it up with . With some good flowing heads and a nice cam , it will probably work real well .

Re: turbo ?

dude.. before you keep wasting everyones time just buy the turbo from a syty vendor, or someone who atleast knows what they are talking about.

a .68 is not going to bolt up to your setup. It has a different flange, and the location would require a custom downpipe.

figure out your cylinder head flow, your cam lift, your peak engine rpm, max boost level (octane requirements) and your desired power level then have a knowledgeable person send you the right turbo.

or a great way to get misinformation about something that won't even work.

When you go out of your way to help someone from wasting money on buying the wrong turbo in the first place, then you inform them as to what will work and what doesnt, only to see them posting questions hours later about yet another turbo that wont fit..

It's like i wasted my time explaining something.

If you knew half the story you would appreciate the fact i am trying to educate someone rather then sell em something...

Re: turbo ?

my apologies.. Like everyone else i dont have the time for the BS either.. I just couldnt figure out why we were talking about a PT61 on the phone, then i suggested something that would work and bolt on to your setup, then all of a sudden you are talking GTQ71's with a t4 turbine housing..

It really doesnt make a difference who you buy the turbo from.. I'm not going to fight to make $100 on a turbo sale, when i have customers buying 5-10 turbos at a time.

The only thing i can ask is if a customer calls up and asks for my advice, please believe that the advice i am giving you is there to help you not just sell you something. And that is a general statement, not directed at anyone in particular..

Angel, sorry if i offended you by addressing you as "dude".. Being a beach guy from Ca, it comes with the territory.. lol
