crossmember question ?

my syclone has been lowered and taken some whacks on the transmission crossmember. I want to replace it, and want to know if it is specific to the sy or will any s-15, s-10 part work. thanks

Not sy-ty specific. Try GM p/n 15675036 Trans support crossmember.

It was about $42 a couple years ago when I bought a new one.

I just picked one up the other day (mine musta taken some serious whacks!), the dealer told me it was Sy/Ty specific. The part number I got was 15148804, and I paid $53.46

Just thought you might wanna know.

I had my dad order one using the part number Jim gave and my price was just under 40 bucks. I haven't installed it yet - but I don't know why it'd be different.

i'm pretty sure its a different tranny mount than the regular s10 - so i'm not surprised the xmemeber is different too.

I have to take back what I said earlier...

The crossmember PN listed by Jim is different. The mounting pad, if you will, is smaller than the SyTy mount. I'm going to order the number listed by Ben and see what I get.

Just replaced mine. Got it from GMPartsDirect for about $40 shipped. The label suggests that it is NOT syty specific, and that it is for an 4wd auto v6. PM me if you want the part number that I ordered.

The cross member GM part 15148804, Is this the correct one for Typhoon, I see bluesyclone has bought one, but is it the same for Typhoon?
