i beg to differ bout a gn launcing hard, my buddy has an 87 with VERY minor bolt-on with the boost turned up to @19lbs and i pulled a 1.68 in his car with a on mt drag radials, my best is a 1.800 on reg street radials, the gn has BONE STOCK suspension too, 300$ for DR's is better than a $400 propshaft
I know i know GNs are famous for thier AWD and they AMAZING no burnout street launches. Sorry you got me.

yeah in a strait line...and i know of some ty's that keep up with modded sti's till 140...but its a truck do you really want to go that fast...im sure a ty can out handle a gn on the highway anyday i was messing around with one when i had my regal and that thing was like a 3 year old coloring
You are right as well. SyTys are AWESOME on the highway. I often beat Z28s, Vettes and Vipers top end in my Typhoon. Mainly past 100mph is when the Ty really starts to pull away from all those slow sports cars.
The GNs are known for not being able to hang with a Typhoon once it really starts to cut the wind.
Is there anything that we SyTy people can do to make our trucks better out of the hole? I never seem to see a SyTy ever beat the super fast and hard launching RWDs.

You guys are gettings crazy. In general, stereotypically speaking SyTys are knows to be bad asses out of the hole from stoplight to stoplight. GNS arent. SyTys are NOT known to have any advantage from a roll top end, GNs are much better top end for the most part.
Im sorry to have offended you guys, but you need to understand there is ALWAYS an exception.
