The Spring AutoFair Lineup will be as follows.

I got us an additional 4 spots to make our total 16 for this show!!! This means we now will get 4 trophys, which will be:
1-Best of Show
2-2nd place
3-3rd place
4- Best Motor
A couple of us MAY try to get an additional couple of trophys made, depends on time/$$. The only thing is that they won't be the same as the Speedway trophys, because they changed vendors and are not able to accomodate extra orders, as they used to be in the past.
If anyone needs to drop, let me know ASAP, so I can try to fill your spot with an alternate. If anyone else would like to be put in for alternate spot, let me know.Looks like a terrific lineup for the show, eh?? The meeting for AutoFair will most likely be around March sometime, so I'll let everyone know when I get the tickets, in event you need them mailed to you before the day of show

I've got you down for an alternate position at this point, since I didn't have a definite answer last week. I had to turn in our request by end of last week. What that means is if someone decides to drop out, and usually someone does have to drop for one reason or another, I will put you in their spot. When it gets close to showtime, I will need your address if I can get you in a spot, and aren't meeting up before the show to get tickets. I won't get our tickets until probably sometime in March from the Speedway. When I get them I will let everyone know, and you can either have your passes mailed to you or pick them up before we cruise in the show that morning. A bunch of us meet at Ruby Tuesday on Speedway Blvd before the show and get our passes on.
We get a preset amount of passes, so I have to had our headcount in waay before showtime. If someone has to drop out, I need to know ASAP,so i can stick someone else in. That's when it gets hard to do if all the passes are mailed out and those folks don't show. Also I have to turn in any unused passes back in to the speedway for their auditing. If we are shy of our headcount by 1, maybe 2, that's not too bad. But if we end up with much more than that we risk getting tossed out for future shows, as 0-60N4(Jim) can attest too. Jim ran into that in the past when we ended up with a lot of no show ups, and no one in thier places. That is the main reason when I begged for us to get back in to Speedway officials, I marketed us as a turboV6 club, instead of just SyTy, so we could beter our numbers by adding the turbo Regals, TTA's, Buick v6 Hybrids in. So far that has worked much better for keeping our numbers in line. We've had 12 show before, but I was able to get approval for 16 spots this time. So here's the list as it stands now:

Cheryl, I plan on going to this event and will drive the sy if you need me to fill a slot. Its alot of work to get her ready, so let me know if you need my support. I hate to say this, but I am focused on the monte right now.

Thanks! Right now we have our spots filled, but I will definitely let you know if we get a spot open up. Still though, come out and hang out with the crew. I'll post where we'll be located at in the facility late next week after I find out. Most likely we'll be in the upper grandstand tunnel. Should be a nice show!

Pat & I went to the AutoFair meeting last night & picked up our tickets. Unfortunately we didn't get placed in the tunnel this time around. Our location this time will be directly across from gate 7(the gate that goes up into the tunnel -near turn 1) on the little side road that leads to gate 7. So I hope for no rain! I will be bringing my little pop up canopy tent, & I think Pat's going to bring his also, so we'll have some shelter. We will be meeting up at the Ruby Tuesdday on Speedway Blvd around 7am the morning of the event. If anyone will be cruising in separately & needs their passes mailed to them, email or PM me your address, and let me know if you need 1 or 2 people passes. I will mail them 2 weeks before the event. If anyone needs to drop let me know ASAP, as I have several alternate folks who can step in for a spot. The list I have for the event is as follows:

I am going to try and make it to meet up with you guys and come in together but something always seems to happen and I cant do it. I will prob be driving 2 and trailering 1. so we'll see how it goes. Our location is easy to find. It is directly across from the entrance gate 7 where we usually go into the tunnel area at, and directly accross from the outside location where we were several years ago when we were just with SyTy's, I think Michael Hood came with you that time, we were on the grassy area in front of the block wall that show. Think it was cold that show! If you don't catch up with us on the way, just go like you normally go into the track and some of us will see you and steer you over
