I think I still have some of the pre '95 stuff around... I'll have to look.

It was a lot of fun back then.

The last I heard, Jim was working for Toyota engine development and only doing SyTy work when he needed to generate a little extra cash flow. I don't believe he is currently doing anything SyTy related.

I tried to find out if anyone in the Michigan crew still had contact with him but no one seems to be in touch with him. I have a phone number for him in the documentation for my truck but I was told he isn't a real "people person" so I have never called him just to chat. He may not be good with people, but he built some damn good engines.

Good Memories! Kinda miss the e-mail list though...it forced you to read more...it is much easier to skip around the board...I think I got on the e-mail list around 97-98ish...wow that was a long time ago

Well, I just found this thread...had pulled up some good memories. I still am the original and only owner of Sy#2530. Gets about 200 miles (1 tank of gas) a year on it (46k miles on it)...usually around Woodward time - though this year (2008) it did not make it out of the garage for any event.

Thanks for the memories,
