ThrottleBody hose missing? *pic*

There seems to be some sort of spout coming out of the throttlebody that has no hose going to it. Could this be the reason for Cold starting issues? (Truck starts strong but stumbles and almost dies and once the truck gets warm it runs smooth again)

Its a water passage that was used on some LT-1's. It was supposed to keep IAT's down but didnt work, at all.

I love how every new owner asks the exact same question instead of searching for the answer :rotf:

How would you even know what to search under?
i dunno, common sense? :dunno: I typed in "throttle body line" and came up with the answer in the 1st page of hits.

again, it takes common sense so what might be hard for some is easy for others I guess. :dunno:

i posted that same angle pic of my truck a while back. i forget what i titled the post. i think of it as a right of passage for a new guy to go through the motions since im seeing the same posts that i posted (and those before me) repeat themselves.

goodness you guys are brutal. it might not be common sense for someone who hasn't owned a truck 5 years. so what if its a re-post. lets' give the gut the nice neighborly advise he deserves.

You know we were all new here at one time and every time i see a new guy come on here and ask a Question they all get the same response use the search tab, Well some of you are down right mean at times when this subject comes about. I mean shit there asking becuz some times it doesn't give a straight answer. I love that there are a few that will spend the extra 2 minutes to either explain or help out more. Then theres the ones that will spend the time to just make a post on how to use the search. I was new here a couple of years ago and got treated the same way. There have been times i have tried using the search and it didn't really help out all that well. So i asked and got the same response.
So i guess IMO if your going to spend the time to post use the search, Then that same amount of time could help a guy out. And then theres the guys that tell them there stupid because they didn't know what to search for on the subject there asking. I am not trying to be rude but i have always thought that boards like this one were to either help others out and to enjoy the same interest that others have.

Sorry if this offends anyone but i guess i was in one of thoes moods.

I thought it was used to warm the throttle body in the winter during warm up
to prevent iceing between the throttle plates and the body and also the IAC
and its seat.
Most vehicles dont use any warm air pic-up ducting anymore
