Just need some help

Ok i have a Question and keep in mind i am new to this turbo thing every thing else i work is mostly small block chevy stuff but this is what i am looking for

i am looking at buying a california syclone and want a good chip(best bang for the buck going to make it my 12 sec daley driver ) i think i will have to re calibrate the pcm(replace th prom) for okla emissions anyways but i heard some chips will destroy the engine buy not retarding timing. SO give me the low down

one last thing i hear this warlbro fuel pump alot and what is with it???is the stocker that bad?

do the basic tune ups first which u should change the fuel pump to a 255 and also filter,get a chip like one turbo 6 makes from turbo time or a ultimate etc u should be able to run low 13s or high 12s with minor mods and a little boost

hey thanks alot i will probably also put exhaust, intake, and a boost controler ecuase i want to take off the caddy

you will probably have some boost spike issues with the stock turbo when u do exhaust mods

yeah i think i can run a boost controler to compensate for that i think?

still will do it,but if u port out the wg it should be better

i was looking at the ultimate chip web site they say if you put the 3 bar sensor and there chip in it should compensate for cutting off the converter with out changing the waste gate or even putting on a boost contoler. What do you guys think???

there chip does control boost i believe, like i said if u port it it might work out ok for u, and any chip you are going to need that 3 bar map for

if i am going to cut the caddy off what do you think i should do from the get go i want to make this truck my dd with a little speed i can port the wast gate but would it be better to buy an after market or is there something else i know some of you guys out there have cut them off before any info

I know this is a little old, but where in Okla are you getting emission tested? As far as I know we have no laws on this and I have never been tested. If so I'm about to buy about 14 cats...
