1G Talon TSi w/EVO III turbo

Saw a guy in a 1g talon driving crazy last night and ended up catching him at a light. He reved up when the light started to change so I knew it was on. I had a good 2-3 cars on him off the line. I kept him back a good ways. I hit 95 and he had fallen back a few. the guy was pretty cool, he told me he has an EVO III turbo and that he was having fueling issues. I told him I had the 20g and was also having fueling issues and slipping trans. It was an ok race though I guess.

I do. Its actually still really strong, but it has a bad leak at what I thought was my front seal but I saw dripping this morning a minute ago and its leaking from the pan BAD!! So I guess this means Ill have to swap it out with my new one with the the 3000 stall.

Was it an AWD TSi? That's a pretty good distance on the launch...he must suck
The funny thing is that both the AWD Talons and the SyTy's start to lose it up top.

FWIW an Evo III is a 16G turbo...sort of like the 'next' upgrade on the SyTy being a 20G. Does the 20G bring back some power over 70mph?

It is my understanding that the Evo III is called a 'big 16G', meaning that it is larger than a regular 16G.

Mine too, however I've been told there are actually three 16g's. A small, big, and evo III. I've run the big version and it was quite a nice street turbo for the 2L. But I like my 20g a lot more

The 20g is not too bad over 70 if youre running more boost and have the fuel to compensate. I noticed crazy top end with it on 19 psi but I was having awful fueling issues over 50.
