In about 5 years I thinking about doing a twin turbo lS 2 build, why some may ask? Because I want to. Will it be done already by someone else? Yes, but who cares. Like you I will do it because that what I want to do. Enjoy your toy. I want to ask you if I can join your misfits? I already have a 1988 S10 shortbed to tub for big tires.The body rates a 9.8 out of 10, it just needs a new tailgate to be a 10.

haha I would LOVE to do an LSx but they are too pricy still. I wouldlove a LSx twin turbo Typhoon but hey, I only want about $10k or so into the truck not $100k! lol

Im sure I could do that. I have been putting all the bolts I remove in zip-locks and labeling them with a sharpie. Ill have alot of goodies to sell after I hit em all with some glass bead in the blast cabinet. hehe.

Ohh agreed.. and the blow off valve sound is beautiful as well... But its pretty neat to do an open header 350 AWD launch as well in a nice quiet cul-de-sac hahaha

HMMMM..... I have a 1993 s-10 that is dyer need of a new engine/transmission beings that the original 4.3L has over 300K miles. Might as well add a transfer case too :tup:

You fellas remember the LS1 powered s10 that was on here a while back... sold on ebay then totalled :lol: ? I like the idea of the V8 S10, but it's more fun to spank people with a V6. Besides, I'm building an LT1 style intake for my GT anyway :lol:

Damn an LS1 Typhoon and in Keller? I live about 10 minutes from Keller at Western Center and I35w area. I gotta see that Ty some day!
Oh yeah, I may just become a Keller cop, I started testing there a few months back and should find out about my next interview in December... hehe

i think the idea of an awd v8 powered truck is pretty cool. dont let what others think get you down. different strokes for different folks, thats what keeps the world interesting.

also like someone else posted hp is hp whether its boosted or not, but for the hell of you should put a turbo or a supercharger on it and show everyone what a boosted v8 will do in an awd truck. :2cents:
