I Need Some Help.i Had A BriGht Idea To Leave From A Dead Stop With 8 Pounds Of Boost With My Typhoon And It Spun The Tires About A Foot Then The Top Of 1st Gear It Made A Loud Bang And Would'nt Pull Any More So I Checked And It Would Go In All Gears Except Od So On The Way Home I Put It In Od And It Worked For A Day,then I Acclerated Hard In 1st And Same Thing Again.thanks For Any Help Avaliable It Is A 1993 Ty With 52,000 And Is Also For Sale!!

Sounds almost like you've got problems with the clutch packs. I wouldn't keep pushing it if it keeps doing it.

About a month ago i had the same problem, and i kept driving it till it wouldnt even go in reverse. Turns out i broke the sprag, and my clutches were fried as well.

sucks to have a low mileage truck break, must have had a hard life.

same thinf happen to me. only i was driving normal. big bang noise and no foward gears. i only had reverse. weird cause my heater core blew at the same time the tranny did. truck is parked at my buddys house till sometime late nex year
