people do suck. as much as i want to get my truck back on the road, i'm thankfull no one can crash into it... well, not that easily anyway. They'd have to either make it through the garage door or wait till it was open, then crash into it.

man this sucks. how bad is it? totalled? i think about this type of thing happening every time i drive my truck. it sucks how much enjoyment it takes from the experience when you have to be so paranoid. were you hurt? i sure hope not, you can get another syclone.

Im ok other than my neck being a little stiff (no, seriously...it is) and a knot on my head from where it contacted the upper inside of the cab behind the door. It rang my bell a little but the cops never asked if anyone was hurt or if they needed to call an ambulance so I guess I looked well enough them :dunno: . I may go see my back cracker (chiropractor) on Monday and have him take a look at my neck to make sure everything is where it should be. He'll prolly tell me my neck is ok but the innards of my head are hopeless...you guys already knew that though .
I drove the truck home but the drivers side bed is FUBAR and the wheel and/or axle is bent since I could see the wheel flopping side to side in the mirror as I was driving. I was less than ten miles from home and my vehicle was the only one that would start/drive on its own and I didnt want the local towing co touching it since Im well aware of those knuckle heads ability to do more damage. I looked it over and it appears the rear diff is still centered so I dont think the frame is bent or the diff shifted over but I wont know for sure until I get things settled with the ins and I can put it up on a frame machine at a buds body shop and shoot it with the laser.
While Im sure some of you guys that know me are curious why I didnt tear the other drivers head off all I can say is he better go buy a lottery ticket since he's a lucky MF'er....just so happens as I was sitting at the light waiting on it to change I noticed the local news crew filming at the intersection. I didnt think much of it other than the thought that I might get to see some footage on tv of me driving the racey truck though the intersection but all they got was me being crashed into. So, using my head for once as I bailed out of the truck all bowed up ready to crush some idiots skull it occurred to me I might not wanna do that since it would be on the news/film. Kinda hard to plead self defense when theres footage of some 6'3"/285lb loon stomping some guys head into the road thats only half his size. To say I was pissed would be an understatement but I used my head instead of my knuckles for once.
The other driver swore his light was green but the guy that was following me through the intersection said different as well as the news crew (thanks WDBJ 7 :tup: ) and the cop gave the other driver a couple tickets and for once I got 0 tickets. The cops were actually pretty cool so props to them...Im just glad it was the city cops and not Roanoke county since a bunch of them and me do not see eye to eye.
Time to go to work guys...someone around here has to pay the bills so Im outta here.

Sorry to hear that. I had a mint 85 Mustang SVO that a retard in VA ran thru an intersection and practically hit me head on.....If I didnt know better I would think thats a typical occurance.....Man that sucks!!!

I was got stopped by road construction today and of course wasn't paying attention and stopped a little close to the car in front of me, I looked behind me and the car behind me came close to me, then I heard bang, the car behind me got rear ended about 30mph. Both driver's were ok, the look on the driver that hit the other cars face was priceless, he knew he was going to be in trouble.

You Virginians and ability to drive, or lack there of. My sister lives in Roanoke, and her apt is on one of the main roads through town. She has to park her car on the street. Twice, in less than the year she's lived there, her car has been hit while parked. Her Cavalier was totalled once by a nurse on her way home from the hospital, all doped up on coke. Arrested after the cops that showed up found more in her car. Bought another Cavalier, and 2nd time was hit by a drunk driver that tried to run, but only made it about 100 feet before his car broke down, and was too drunk to run away.

I looked at the clock wrong so I gotta couple minutes to spare...
LOL...yeah Dave that was the plan as I threw the door open and bailed out. Dunno how many of the rest of you guys have ever went to someones ass but Ive done it a time or ten (got my ass kicked a few times too :tdown: ). I get tunnel vision and focus 110% on the place I intend to try to drive my fist through on the persons face (I go for the nose...you cant see you cant fight) I get a huge rush of adreneline(sp?) and the heart rate explodes to some number that would prolly scare my doctor. I visualize the whole thing beginning to end in a blink of an eye and I tune out anything and everyone around me. Kinda hard to describe but once its turned on Ive only been able to turn it off twice...once being this morning. None the less I got about two steps and it hit me that I was being filmed so I did a 180 with my intentions and Ive got more ppl to take care of than just me...kinda hard to provide for the wife/son when youre bubba's cell mate ya know. The guy will never know just how lucky he got this morning.
Enough chest thumping... Im ok, the truck is hurt but not totalled (wouldnt matter anyways....Id fix it), and come next week I'll get the chance to start trading jabs with state farm ins who are my favorite ppl on my "sh*% list" list right below progressive ins.

This happened in Roanoke county in Vinton (vinton=suburb of Roanoke City). While Vinton is a little....um...rough I gotta drive through it to get home if I go into town which Id done this AM since I had a doctors appt for the bug I caught/ranted about last week.
Id just filled the truck up with 116 octane before leaving for the docs office to do some trans tuning and I was on my way back home to get some sleep before going in to work tonight. It just occurred to me that now Ive got 3/4 of a tank of 116 octane and no use for it...damn, 30 gallons of that stuff wasnt cheap :roll: .
Anyways, idiotic drivers are everywhere but I tell ya...VA seems to be the mecca of brain dead ppl behind the wheel :tdown: :tdown: .
