I just need to rant a little. We went and raced my Dad's racecar today, thing ran like crap the whole day. We couldn't figure out why for the life of us, we couldn't make sense of anything. Found out this evening that a lobe on the cam for some reason has worn down. We've only run this engine at like 5 events so far, and it's already broken. :rant: Now that all needs to come apart and get fixed and put back together. Aaand, the Ty is taken apart in the driveway, waiting for a response on turbo/downpipe for it, cuz that thing was shot. So that thing isn't running. Aaaaaaand, the Camaro is still off at the fab shop, where it's been for months getting the suspension done. So that thing isn't running. Aaaaaaaaaand, my stupid Miata drivers side door broke last night, and it won't open from the inside or out, so I have to crawl through my pass. side until I figure that $#!+ out. :rant: I'm so tired, and I'm dreading school tomorrow morning. Ugh.

my ferarri won't start, the lamboghini has a flat tire, and the maybach has a full ashtray.
on top of that, it's no weather to drive my 430slk cabrio to work, life sux....

Haha, bummer. Mine won't open from the inside OR the outside. So now I'm wondering how I'm gonna even get the door panel off to fix this thing. Sheesh.

Guys what we have here is a classic case of jealously. Guy get girlfriend :tup: , cars get jealous and start breaking down to force you to spend more time with them. :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

Interesting...I didn't think about it, but my Xtreme died shortly after the GF appeared on the scene.....very interesting

Haha, oh jeez. I like to be my own mechanic. Isn't that part of owning a SyTy? Oh, and the guy with the degree will probably most often be broke, paying off college expenses. At least that's what I see in most cases. Regardless, I'll stay in school.

Well you're right, It's best to be your own mechanic with the SyTy so you know if someone else works on it, whether or not they're ripping you off on the repair. This is the main reason I do all of my own repairs. If you have a degree at least you have the option of taking it to a place like RPM for repairs and upgrades. :tup:

Not exactly, but he makes a great point. I just started seeing this girl, the one you saw pics of on Garys thread. I guess if things go right, she could become a girlfriend. But as soon as she came along, the cars keep fallin apart. haha.
