hey eveyone im steve i have a 93 typhoon im new to this site

i just got my baby a week ago its black with gold emblems its missing the typhoon emblem on the back it doesnt have the gmc one either but i dodnt need it and im lookin for a cold air kit or filter and a nice loud blowoff valve can anyone help me out

hey guys maybe u can help me i just got a 93 typhoon needs some work but i noticed the truck is running rich the previous owner took the cat out and when im on the throttle the truck hesitates and stumbles the only code i gettin a a 45 o2 rich i noticed that the truck runs better ig u unplug the map sensor. My fuel pressure is a staedy 45 psi just changed the plugs any ideas ??

Get a new map sensor.

Replace the CAT and adjust the fuel down a tad to 42psi. Hope that helps. Were are you from?

Holy run-on sentance Batman! Yeah, turn the fp down a tad and put a cat on, it could save your engine in the long run. No cat = unpredictable boost = possible engine carnage.:2cents:

the truck should definately run worse by unpluggin the map sensor, if it runs at all. That is the signal the ECM uses to control both fuel and timing.

As for your code 45, it is a somewhat common code but chances are with a gutted cat you are overboosting and the vehicle is detonating (even though you may not hear it, the computer is taking over the best it can)
