Are cr42ts the same as r42ts delco plugs, The guy at the parts store told me that the c just means that they come in bulk is this correct?
Thanks

They are on the shelf, work great.

Re: spark plug ?

For some reason my truck likes the stockers tried the ngks 5, and 6 will barely run, tried different gaps from 28 to 38 also still runs the same. Throw a set of cr42ts in there and it purrs like a kitten. Maybe my coil is getting weak or something since I have new wires, cap, and rotor.
Thanks

Re: spark plug ?

the "C" stands for copper core.... it is in the front of the spark plug catalog how the plug breaks down:
c- copper core
r- resistor type
42- heat range
t- tapered seat
s- extended tip

Re: spark plug ?

does any one run a non-projected tip plug like the R5671A-7 or 8, stocking number NGK 4554? from my research, a projected tip is a hot spot for causing detonation.

i'll be trying out the 4554's very soon

edit: btw these plugs are for vortec heads
