Back in Sweden again!

First of all I want to thank all of you that has supported me all through this adventure!

A very very special thanks to Jeff Scott, who made all this possible!

I really had a very good time at the NATS (sorry if I wasn´t as "social" as I wanted to, and usaully are, I was to tired:( ) I think that this meeting really is something special, that we all should value and appriciate. There´s not so many Sy/Ty around, so we should stay together and skip the BS. I try to do my best here in Sweden, to make sure that these cars will be positivly looked at. I was the first to take the historic 8. I´m not gonna sleep through the winter, beacuse I know that it´s gonna be lower 8´s from my side, look out :) (Sorry Ed :))

What I told you before is that this was my dream to see you all and I hope you enjoyed my ride, and maybe you got some new ideas.

My best time in US was 9.06/154mph. 60 foot, 1.38 AND NO NOS!!!. The setups and map were exactly the same as I had in Europe. The only difference was the fuel. I´m a 100% sure that if I had got more passes, I had run 8 in US as well. But unfortunally I had no time, and not enough passes.

If someone have films or pictures from the races and the meeting on my car, I would be really glad if you could send it to me. I´m starting to make a film of the event. Please email it to: robert@syclone.org

Once again, thank you all so much!

Regards Robert with family :)

We certainly hope you can come back next year, even without your truck. It was a pleasure to meet you and your family.

Robert, it was great to meet you and the crew, and I would say from the number of cameras around the truck, you should get quite a few pics and vids. I will be happy to send you what I have.

Thanks again for bringing your ride and your group to Nats!

Re: Mr. Syclone saying thank you folks!

Thanx for coming over, Robert. I hadn't planned on coming because both of my Tys are being built up/repaired but heard you were going to be there. Fortunately, I was able to talk my wife into it (who's patience is rather thing with the trucks already). It ended up being a great experience for both of us which I will certainly repeat next year.

I'll be sure to send you a copy of all the media that I acquired while I was there once I get the time to compile it.

I appreciate the sacrifice you (and others) made to get that far.

Laaaate/or early morning sunday (have to keep my "partyanimal" image thrue) drunk as a skunk :D
Ive been out down town made some field serch for Jeff and Dabney in "jurasic park" so they get the best from Sweden when they comes :D

I agree with Robert.. This was one of my finest times; sorry for not meet Matt or Ed even without the truck it would have been a memorable chat...

Ok the 8 pass in US is still to be taken but as Robert says "it´s gonna be lower 8´s from my side" and I for ONE is to stan by his side to make his truck a "everytime 8 sec Truck"

:D

And on spare time I´ll place my nova in the 11 sec region :D

Re: Mr. Syclone saying thank you folks!

Not much I can say I haven't said to Robert 1st hand. This experience for me was for sure a once in a lifetime chance.

I just got home from shipping his truck back to him and it was somewhat sad for me to see the end of such a great experience and what I know is 5 new lifelong friends. Let me rephrase that GREAT friends.

I am for sure going to visit Robert next year in Sweden. He knows without anything being said if he should want to come just attend nats next year who to call. I even plan to have my ty done and if he sets foot on US soil he will be the 1st person I throw my keys to and say HAVE FUN!

Robert,

It was nice meeting you guys in Bowling Green and I have a couple pics I took that I'll send you sooner or later. Even Mrs myclone enjoyed hanging out with all of you and she especially enjoyed discussing time slips/60ft times after the runs. Her only request is that next time you guys come back for a visit bring some of that world famous Swedish chocolate for her sweet tooth :) .

Anyways, I hope you and your crew enjoyed your stay here and should you guys ever make it back here with the truck we will do our best to meet up with you again.

Re: Mr. Syclone saying thank you folks!

Stealing this from another thread. Posted by Jimmy but as Robert and I have talked back and forth these statement really captures the reason Robert wanted to come this year.

I know for a fact that I have friends from coast to coast, north south east and west here. Some I've met face to face, some only on IM and the board.

The stupid retards on here that constantly throw money at their POS trucks, developing new parts, programing the ECMs to do crazy unthinkable shit, and find ways to fix all of the crap that GM dumped on us then said "**** off." is badass.

Why do we do it?

We just do.

Maybe it's on the brink of insanity, and maybe other ppl don't undestand, but IMO when you boost launch 600 awd ft lbs of torque, everything else just seems Renz.

I mean gay.

And of course Renz will "conveniently" fail to see this post for a week so he doesn't have to think of a witty retort, because he can't,do to the fact that I OWN him,and his inbred Pennsyltucky brain doesn't function to the level of $2 crack whore when he is faced with a nuclear bomb against his slingshot.
