Well, I have not heard any times for the stock turbo class.
Lets hear what they run.
Forget about those 9 second SY's ,those are over rated.

It happens with all the attention to two fast trucks in attendance.

I won Stock Turbo. Ran a 12.30 @108 in the final. My best was ET was 12.27 @108.6, with a 1.63 60'. The closest guy ran a 13.3X @ 98.XX.

I also won the fastest stock suspension 60' award and the SY-TY Grand Prix.

Cool , congrats!!
Too bad there was not enough competitors in that class to make it more interesting. ;)

Even if there would have been more competitors, the outcome would have been the same.

I would think the stock turbo class would be the most coveted and contested class. Anyone can spend big bucks and have a fast truck, but its not everyone that can beat all others with the limitations the stock turbo class brings.

Jeremy only won the Grandprix, cause I red-lighted.......Watch he'll spew some excuse's about a starter or something.....

In other news, where were the people for the Grand Prix, and the Bracket racing?!?!?! Huge event last year....NOTHING this year?

Thanks! There were 6 trucks that teched in Stock turbo. 3 of us made the first round. I don't know if breakage or the fear of breaking kept the other three from racing.

The largest and Mostest competitive class was Super Stock, which Tooky Cat took home the victory in. On a holeshot no less. Congrats to Tooky and all the winners.

The total points were Jeremy 4 , Dobrick 1. You only lost one point for red lighting. Two still doesn't beat three. I know you are from Kentucky and all but trust me two does not beat three!

Steve (SEL777) was experiencing some transmission weirdness and still needed to drive back to Chicago - that's why he was there in the end.

I have to agree with Daron. It would be nice to see some more consitent drivers come out that could compete with Jeremy but the guy's consistency is like a machine. I keep waiting to see his truck break into the 11s.

Re: Stock turbo class being overlooked?

I accidentally won second place in the stock turbo this year. I would have much rather taken last if everybody would have raced. Jeremy has one hell of a truck and a nice guy to beat. When he beat me he got out of his truck and came over to me and shook my hand. I could not have lost to a nicer guy. I guess if I put my stock air box back on I would have come close to winning the pure stock, but I was at the track to race the clock. Thanks everybody for the help.

I would consider the tranny swap "big bucks"
But that's just me.

But the tranny didn't contribute to the speed......Only the reliability.

Racing itself is expensive. He went through 3 700's, and 1 4l80e. the 4l80e was cheaper (didn't say cheap)

Re: Stock turbo class being overlooked?

Jeremy will run 11's by the end of the year......no doubt, when he does, the SS class will be next, I just hope to get a 1st place in mod before he moves up to take that one.

Yes, he is a machine when it comes to racing... fierce competitor and an Effing pitbull of an opponent. But between runs he's one of the nicest guys I know. If you can beat him your one hellova driver.

As long as he runs St I think we can all predict who will win the trophy......NEXT!

As for the tranny...Jeremy beats that truck like a rented mule...I have watched as he snapped the rear end while boosting to 20 psi holding the brakes in his driveway during a test of his brake system. His response was...time for a new diff. Which was the same response for all three trannies. It all boiled down to needing to find a jeremy proof transmission. Enter the 80e, speed wasnt the issue, it was reliability....if it can be done with a budget tranny go for it. I have seen Jeremy at work behind the wheel, no , and I mean NO 700R4 could take that abuse.
