I guess I'm "odd" too. I have went out into the garage and taken my truck apart to help out others on here before when they needed info. Taken lots of pics of stuff over the years too when someone needed to see something. Driven out of state several times to help people out for nothing in return other than "thanks". It's always interesting seeing people's reactions when they ask me what I'm doing and I reply "helping out an owner in (insert state here)".
Last night, I went out into the garage and played "musical cars" making room so that I could get my truck in the air for a pic. I don't have the room that I used to have at the old house so, I have to "dig out" my truck nowadays to mess with it
. When I was laying on the floor I began to wonder what the hell was I doing? Then I remembered doing something that attracted me to this community in the first place, helping another (former) owner out. Too bad that attitude isn't as popular today as it was when I got my truck seven years ago...

i had my truck under a cover for under a year and everyday i'd go out to it pull up the cover a little just to make sure it was there, then i'd recover it. now i'm 30miles away from it, waiting to get my parts to finish it soon.

I love it when I beat the wife home and get to park my 91 sentra SE-R in next to syclone, then as I walk back from the mail box I see the ass end of the se-r and the front sy and just smile.
I also sometimes just sit in the passenger seat and stare at the drivers seat "Knowing" :wink: that one day I'll be able to plant myself there and actually drive it.
For now I know my garage isnt going anywhere.
I have also been thinking of getting a "Beware of Syclone" sign and staking it in my front lawn.

I had a mattress delivered yesterday and was throwing out the plastic in the garage. The delivery guy was walking by, glanced in the garage, stopped and said "Is that a Syclone?" I responded "yes it is", he says " a real syclone?" I say again "yes it is", he says "damn, I haven't seen one of them in at least five years, when one smoked my mustang".
Yep, those are the moments we all live for. the smile on my face could not have been any wider!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
