October Eastern PA Meet

Kevin (ExoticKoncepts) has graciously agreed in allowing us to use his business lot for an early Autumn meet...something that folks in eastern PA have been asking for for quite some time.

Once the date is selected, the event will be opened up to the Turbo Regal world...so it will be a true Turbo6 meet. It's likely there will be a grill, so folks will be asked to bring stuff (potluck style).

I think early evenings are best...you have the day free to do whatever, the sun starts cooling off, and you can hang out till whenever. I'm open to suggestions.

The location is in Chalfont PA...which is in Central Bucks County, not far from Montgomeryville, Lansdale, Doylestown, Horsham, etc. See this thread for more info on the location: http://www.syty.net/forums/showthread.php?t=39263&page=3

This is not a show; there are no trophies, no dash plaques (unless someone wants to make them), no judging. Just BRING IT. :cheers:

Pick a date. The date with the second highest number of votes will serve as Rain Date (providing it's after the top choice, of course.)

Edit: Days are shorter in Oct. Start time might be 4 pm.

Agree...which is why we're into October. Weather will be nice, but not cold (Hooters in December? :roll: ). Most people 'round here won't make the Nats, so this is an opp. to get together. Also, should not influence anyone's decision to go to Nats. I'm hoping to do both.

Sounds good, Just about any date on the list works good for me. Lets pick a date and gte this thing rollin. After the date poll, we can try to see who is interested in mabe some t-shirts poss? I can do up a cool eastern turbo V6 meet logo for some shirts. :tup: :turbo:

Im almost 3hrs from there, but my calander is open on all those dates as of now. ill be keeping an eye on this...

Oct 7th is no good for me. But any of the other days are good prefer a Saturday becasue i work on Monday and if we meet @ 4 or 5 doesn't give us alot of time to hang out. Since it will be 1hr 30min ride for me each way.

Also I have BIG PARTY Coming Up on SUNDAY SEPT 3RD @ MY HOUSE IN TOMS RIVER, NJ. I think i will have ED HESS here with his TRUCK on DISPLAY.

Thanks for the input Ralph...I don't want to lose out on people because of the distance. But for most of us here in this part of Philly, we have to travel pretty far to get to meets. E-town, Tom's River, even Hooters in Marlton is a pretty good ride. So this is an opportunity, a casual meet, to get together with as many from the region that can make it. I'd like to hear more input on times. With kids, evenings are consistently the best "escape" time.

Okay, well, I might as well post it. Kirban just announced his open house. The date...October 7th 9am -4pm in Plumsteadville. We could either piggyback on his event or just take that date off the option list and schedule it for another day.

Will be plenty of TR's over at Dennis' and we could make a showing and possibly hang out afterwards at EK. Thoughts people?

I will be at oc for sure. 88th street sea terrace, I am getting the truck inspected saturday and the lojack guy is comming sometime wednesday to install that, just got 4 new tires last night so hopefully it will go through with no issues, last 2 tings will be wash the hell out of it (dirty) and replace to hinge pins in the door they got some play.
