Re: AFPR installation
I just did mine. Not hard at all. 1st remove the wires for the iac, throttle position sensor, and I had to take the vac lines off the egr. Do yourself a favor and buy a 5/8 fuel line box end wrench (crafsman makes a nice one). open gas cap to remove pressure as well as bleed off the fuel rail. get underneath the fpr and remove the fuel line. Have a rag handy because it will leak. Now remove the 2 screws on either side of the unit. Pull it strait off. Again it will leak. Put some silicone on the new o-ring and slide in the new fpr. I instaled the 5/8 fuel line before in screwed on the new unit so not to cross thread but do not tighten all the way. Tighten up the 2 screws. tighten up the 5/8 fuel line and make sure the hard line is going the correct direction. Hook up fp guage and check pressure and look for leaks. Start it up and check again for leaks. Check it after you heat it up for leaks again. The IC box kinda in the way and to remove it would be easier but I was able to install with it still on.
