Well, crap.

Let me go out and see if they have tags on 'em or are stamped on the flanges.

EDIT: THESE ARE KENNE BELL HEADERS, NOT ATR

Hey Eric,
I need that AFPR - if I could just figure out what that fitting on the bottom does?
Is that the return line?

One side in, one side to the engine. The flat piece is a plug that can either go in the side or the bottom.

:werd: I'm right outside of Houston.

I would be willing to drive (within reason) and meet some of the other Texas/LA guys for the engine.

I will take the long block. I am in Austin. How close can you meet me?

Thanks,

Also, can you give me some more info on the specs of the long block (stock bore, good oil pressure, any work needed other than mentioned)? Are the pistons forged? Sorry if I ask any stupid questions but I am new to the SY/TY's!

Thanks,
Bobby Strehler

around 10k block. TRW forged pistons, comp cam (412 or 420, I don't remember) new timing assembly, vortec heads were supposed to have been rebuilt (rocker arm broken upon installation by former owner.)

I haven't been inside to look around. I came across the engine for the same price that I am asking and thought it was a good price. Haven't done anything with it in a year, so I figured that I would pass it on to someone else.

I had planned to take it to a machine shop for a once over before installation and would still recommend that the next owner do the same if not fully competent in engine assemblies.

I can drive to meet you, wouldn't be a problem. I'm off till next monday, so any time until then would be fine.

Re: KB headers, engine, aeromotive A1000, tranny/oil coolers

So, as far as you know, everything is in good shape? The motor never burned oil, smoked, or knocked? I will still drop it off at the machine shop for inspection but I don't want to have to replace crank, rods, or pistons.

Thanks,
Bobby Strehler
