sytyguy Moderated User Oct 11, 2009 #6 Re: Rod Bearing Question Correct, CB663P is the SBC V8 rod bearing. CB1358P is for the 4.3L. For the same reason that we cannot use the SBC rod in our engine, you cannot use the SBC rod bearing (.842/.940 width vs .753 width)
