getting on the gas hard, the turbo is not spooling up, its almost making the truck stop??? Also backfiring, like its getting too much gas or not enough. Have replaced fuel filter, and fuel pressure regulator. Still doing the same thing. No vacuum leaks that I can find, no check engines lights popping up either. Any body have any ideas. Thanks!!!!

Do you have Tach Flutter?

I would becareful and not got WOT, get a scan tool, and work you way inot boost until you gigure out the problem. I would hate to see you break the engine trying to diagnose the problem.

These truck eats ignition parts. I do a cap/rotor/plugs pretty much every 3000 miles.

The wrong plugs can cause problems, I have seen issue with corrosion on the coil and distributor connection the writing harness on truck on snow belt trucks.

Re: Turbo Breaking Up

could some one tell me where the map sesor is at on the ty? thanks

Here ya go. Right behind/under that hose connected to the upper intake manifold. Should be an electrical connector and a nipple on the bottom with a vac line attached to it.
